The LG C5 does that hands down. We have been missing a lot of the cool features that are available today like 4K, HDR 10, OLED, variable refresh rate, etc. Motion handling is excellent, thanks to a very fast response time. Whether watching sports, action movies, or gaming, everything feels fluid and blur-free. The color reproduction is vivid and accurate. Even in wide angle viewing, the screen holds up beautifully! there's no significant color washout when you view from the sides. Overall, the LG OLED TV offers a luxurious viewing experience, especially for movie lovers and gamers. Its strengths in contrast, color, and responsiveness outweigh the minor trade offs, making it a top tier choice for anyone looking for truly premium picture quality.

I first turned on antenna TV and watched some of my favorite older shows and the picture was good on all of them. Even with low quality input content the upscaled picture was nice. I even got to watch one of my favorite Christmas movies on an LG channel. I haven't touched any settings yet and I'm still getting used to the remote (I'm looking for a universal replacement to have a second option). But do far, I like the LG C5 77".

For years our media room seemed as if the TV just wasn't the right size. We had a 65 inch in the room but it just didn't have the picture quality or the right size for that room. The LG OLED 77 inch filled the room perfectly not just the size but the picture quality is unbelievable. What do I love about the LG OLED AI C5... Great picture quality! The black levels are incredible it gives perfect contrast that makes dark scenes pop. Colors are accurate and look great. It has a wide range of colors. We looked at allot of TVS but none came close to the LG OLED 77 inch C5. HDR performance is amazing and so is the AI . The other reason we went with the LG OLED was for the gaming aspect. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, supports 4k gaming and has a 144hz refresh rate. The webOS has a great feel to it. We like how the remote is like using a mouse on screen and best of all it's user friendly. If your looking for a great OLED TV, look no further this is the one to get.... you'll be glad you did!! After reading about the 2025 models, I finally decided to grab the 65” LG C5, and wow—I genuinely don't know why I waited so long. The Brightness (It actually handles daylight!) This was my biggest worry, but the "Brightness Booster" on the C5 is legitimate. We watched a football game last Sunday at noon with the blinds halfway open, and the picture still popped. It's significantly brighter than older OLEDs I've seen at friends' houses. When the sun goes down and you watch HDR content (like Dune or Mandalorian), it's stunning. The blacks are perfect ink-dark, obviously, but those bright highlights—lasers, sunsets, reflections—are actually intense now. It doesn't just look good "for an OLED," it just looks incredible, period. Gaming Performance (Kid-Approved) While I use it for movies, the main reason we upgraded was for gaming, and this TV is an absolute cheat code. It has four full HDMI 2.1 ports, so we have both the PS5 and the gaming PC hooked up without fighting over ports. Running games at 144Hz is shockingly smooth; the difference in responsiveness is something you feel immediately in fast-paced shooters. The Game Optimizer dashboard is also super handy for quickly tweaking settings without digging through menus. The Real Test: My Son loves it My teenage son, who usually prefers playing on his high-refresh-rate gaming monitor in his room, has completely taken over the living room since we got this. He hooked up his PC to test it out and hasn't left. He plays a lot of competitive shooters (Valorant, Apex) and said the input lag is practically non-existent—he actually told me it feels "cracked" (which I assume means very good). We also played some co-op console games, and the colors and fluidity make everything feel next-gen again. Verdict If you were worried about brightness like I was, don't be. The C5 fixed that. It's the perfect hybrid TV—incredible for daytime sports and movies, and absolutely elite for gaming. It's an expensive purchase, but the whole family is loving it. Highly recommended.

The TV looks great, is a LOT brighter than the C2 series, and performs well in my quite-bright living room. Additionally, LG WebOS lets you disable home screen ads - this is a KEY selling point for me! Overall I am very satisfied with the new TV.

Compared to my old TV, screen on this TV is very reflective and more often need to turn off the lights for best experience. Interface is fast and smooth, app selection is good, found all the ott apps that I use. Sound through phone is an awesome feature for times you need to keep it quite. Thinq app and wifi connected features are an upgrade compared to previous tv. Remote has been a let down for me, soft click buttons would have been so much better. Just don't feel like using the remote, my old tv remote was so much better and had a premium feel. Over all I am happy with the TV.
