Excellent picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After nine years with a 60-inch 4K LED TV, I finally upgraded to the LG 77-inch C5 OLED—and the difference is remarkable. The picture quality is far superior to my old set, with stunning brightness and saturation. Before buying, I worried about how OLEDs would perform in bright rooms, but those concerns disappeared quickly. Even with two windows letting in sunlight and the curtains open, the image remains vivid and sharp. Sound quality is decent, though I use a receiver, so that's not a concern for me. I haven't explored webOS much and probably won't, so I can't comment on the smart features. From the limited time I've spent with the TV and remote, everything seems straightforward enough. Overall, this OLED has exceeded my expectations—especially in picture quality—and I'm glad I made the switch.

Amazing Picture Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG C5's OLED evo panel delivers outstanding picture quality, with perfect black levels and exceptional contrast thanks to its self-lit pixels. Colors are highly accurate and vibrant, supported by LG's claims of 100% color fidelity and volume. The new α9 Gen8 AI Processor significantly improves clarity by upscaling lower-resolution content and enhancing detail, while HDR formats like Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG ensure high-quality performance across all types of media. Brightness is noticeably improved compared to older OLED models due to the Brightness Booster technology, giving HDR content more pop, though some users note the image can feel slightly soft in dim rooms unless more aggressive picture modes are enabled. Overall, the C5 provides a cinematic, richly detailed viewing experience that stands out in both dark and moderately lit environments.

AMAZING OLED, great sound, great tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the tv and I was blown away right away. The 77 in is great for large rooms and it has no issues in naturally lit rooms. The sound is not bad either major improvement over regular tvs. And the inky blacks really make the oled great.vivid colors.

Lightweight, tight dimensions, great off axis View

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Highly detailed picture, Wide color gamut, Dimensions worked perfectly for my installation, Love the 6mm bolt VESA spacing and position, very Lightweight for a 77”. OLED black level is impressive! My BluRay discs look better than ever, Streaming 4K is a dream come true for this A/V lover! I use my 5.1 sound system most of the time but even if I don't turn that on the sound is fine. I don't game but love the motion capability on Football.

77” OLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a new TV that could keep up with streaming services and reduce glare from windows. Stumbled upon this beauty on LG.com with a great holiday sale. Also upgraded for a soundbar and boom box half off. Free tv mount and mounting service to boot! Drastic upgrade from our old tv. Blacks are darker and brights are brighter!

Absolutely Stunning Picture and Next-Gen Options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the 83” LG C5 OLED, and it's hands down one of the best purchases I've ever made. The picture quality is absolutely breathtaking — deep, inky blacks, vibrant yet natural colors, and incredible contrast that makes every movie and sports game pop off the screen. Even in a bright room, the OLED panel handles glare surprisingly well. The new Alpha 11 AI processor does an amazing job optimizing content automatically — from 4K Blu-rays to streaming shows, everything looks crisp and lifelike. Motion is buttery smooth, and the 120Hz refresh rate combined with LG's Game Optimizer makes this a dream for gaming. The input lag is nearly nonexistent, and HDMI 2.1 support on all ports is a huge plus for next-gen consoles. The webOS interface is fast and intuitive, and pairing it with the Magic Remote feels natural — voice commands work great too. The built-in speakers are surprisingly full, but pairing it with a Dolby Atmos soundbar takes it to a whole new level. At 83 inches, the size is immersive without overwhelming the room. Movies feel like a theater experience, and sports are just on another level — it's like being on the field. If you're debating between OLED models or waiting for the next sale, trust me — the LG C5 is worth it. The performance, design, and image quality are second to none.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded from the LG CX to the C5, and I'm really impressed. The picture quality is definitely better, especially with older content. The new processor does a great job upscaling lower-quality video, and motion is smoother too. The blacks and contrast are as great; HDR feels a bit brighter than on the CX. One thing I noticed right away is that the anti-reflective coating seems way better on the C5. Less glare, even with windows nearby, which is a big plus if you're watching in a bright room.

Great vivid picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressed with my new C5 77 inch oled. My first OLED and it is really vivid. Coming from a pioneer plasma, I was afraid the experience would not be as good…I was wrong. The set up and controls are also pretty straight forward, with easy to understand progressive prompts. The blue light reduction is a nice add which I quickly employed. Made an immediate difference. Nice job LG…you have a winner in the C5. Highly recommend.
