The current Bolthouse baby cut carrots taste bad. They taste like fertilizer. Even though they are prewashed, I found them inedible out of the bag. Washing them off made them marginally better- enough to attempt to see if they would be ok if cooked. The little carrots sold previously at Sam’s were tasty. Most recently, before these, they were Bokthouse organics. I would buy them, happy that they were not Grimmway Farms’s dirt & fertilizer tasting carrots that everyone else sells in my area. And they lasted longer than the sweet petites from Green Giant used to. Bolthouse’s large organic carrots were sweetly delicious! So much so that I called to tell them so. Please! Sam’sClub: bring back the good tasting ones that also happen to be organic. Buyers beware: these are NOT what we’re used to from this grower, and not the same as what SSM’s used to sell. Prepare for bad, bitter, fertilizer flavored carrots.
