We’ve lived in our house for over 30 years and installed 7 original Hunter Fans before we moved in. Have really enjoyed them and have never had any problems with them. We always wanted to install a fan in our upstairs hallway but could never find just the right one. We discovered that Hunter Fan had linked up with Jasmine Roth design for a fan that included a light and was enclosed but provided plenty of downdraft. The demand was so great, we had to wait 6 months to finally get one. We finally bought one and had it installed and the results are terrific!! It manages to cool our house and looks very modern! Very happy with our decision!

I enjoy having a fan that doesnt look like a traditional ceiling fan. It is stylish. BUT the light is dim so I used 75 watt bulbs, the inner and outer shades are slightly off kilter to each other. Even with disassembling and re-assembling it is still there so I am wondering if the thread on the downrod to the motor is slightly off. Another irritating thing is there is a 2.5-3 second delay from flipping the switch to the light coming on. Not the end of the world but it's noticeable. It wasn't there with the previous light fixture so it is not the house wiring but something within the fan/light. I like the look of it and its not worth taking it down but I wouldn't purchase again nor recommend it-unless mine is just faulty.

Very disappointed. The motor definitely has a weird him sound. It drives me crazy all night and you can hear it come on and off every time you change speed of fan. Also, it wobbles on the higher setting. Looks nice but if I knew it had these issues I would have never bought.

Bought this fan 4 months ago. Nice design. Motor is not noisy or irritating but not completely quiet. This light bulbs included with the fan gives the room an awful really depressing glow. Room now feels depressing. Will definitely be searching for alternative bulbs.

I love the Brookside Fandelier and am considering a second one for our family room. The only issue I have is getting the seams on the shades not to be in view when entering the room. I was able to turn the larger shade so that the seam is facing the back corner; however, the smaller one is locked into place and I can’t swivel it around. Any help is appreciated!

This is a good looking fandalier and it's well made. It's not hard to put together, but it does take quite a bit of time. The cons are it has a little bit of a wobble and has a fairly loud hum to it. The hum is consistent so it's not too annoying. Unfortunately, to reverse the fan, you have to get on a ladder and flip a switch on top of the motor housing. This is inexcusable and had I known this, I probably wouldn't have purchased the fan.

Beautiful fan! However, when I turn the light on from the light switch on the wall, it takes a few seconds to actually come on. I switched light bulbs from LED to an incandescent, thinking that was the problem, but same result. Kinda annoying…

Pictures don't do this light fixture justice! I'm not crazy about the looks of a fan but when you are in your 50s, it's a must at night. It turned out to be my favorite light fixture in the whole house! So elegant & organic!

Deceptive marketing. Photo makes it look like you can reverse the fan with remote. Not true. This fan is also very loud sounds like it is making popcorn
