Love the rate in which it makes ice. I'm not in love with the level of sound it makes when producing ice. Also, having issues (sometimes) with side tank not feeding water into the maker. Sometimes with side tank full, the add water light is on and it will not make ice.

This is our 3rd Opal ice maker and we’ve loved them all. The first generation Ice maker died after about a year, but our second gen still works and we love this newest one. It makes the best ice and the side tank allows us to have to fill water less often. It makes plenty of ice to support a family of 4.

We just bought the GE Profile Opal 2.0 Ice Machine. It is just as we thought it would be - GREAT. It took a about 4 or so hrs. for the bin to fill the 1st time but has made new ice continuously since then. I enjoy chewing on ice and this ice is perfect. Yes, the machine makes a subtle noise but it’s not annoying

Beautiful design along with the convenience of fresh made ice anytime! The side tank takes the worry away of having to continually refill the water reservoir. The automatic cleaning feature is nice to have and gives peace of mind that you will have a clean machine making clean ice. The ice is small and chewable and does not melt quickly! Overall, we are enjoying our ice maker very much!

What can I say hands down to this perfect ice maker machine. I Love everything about it from the little light on there to constance fresh batches of ice being made every time some is taken out and it comes with an ice scoop. You won’t regret your purchase. It’s worth the price to me :)

Haven’t drank this much water in my entire life! Just having this ice maker at my disposal has made every difference in wanting to drink water. Love having our neighbors wanting to have their kids come over to swim at our pool cause we have “the good ice”. Machine is a little loud when it’s making ice, but nothing terrible. Setup was slightly tricky and time consuming but ok….totally worth it!

We received our ice maker on the day 7 relatives arrived for a visit . The little gem made ice for all of us all day long and late into the evening . Great tasting ice that kept up with the demand . You won a new customer … my cousin is getting one when he returns home !

I bought this for my wife as a Mother’s Day gift. She loves it and we love it. The only reason for 4 stars versus 5 is due to the water level issues with the side tank. On multiple occasions the unit runs out of water and will not pull water from the side tank. I’ve been experimenting with different things to figure it out but this has been the only negative part so far.

It's not as big as I thought it would be, which is a good thing. I would recommend this ice maker for anyone that is picky about their ice!

We have only had this machine a few weeks, but it is a workhorse. It fits perfectly on the countertop and under the upper cabinets. As soon as we finished setting it up and turned it on, it started making ice about 20minutes later. Just like the instructions said it would. Being from Texas, we like ice and we like our ice not to melt quickly. For whatever reason, this ice stays icy longer than our regular refrig/icemaker ice. I agree, the unit is pricey, but you will not be disappointed.
