Yes, it is a General Electric product that functions very well, without interruptions and without alarms and strange operational procedures. I am totally satisfy, and enjoy it all the time for drinking water, juices, sodas, and fo sure my spirits and "on the rocks" scotch.

So far it has been flawless. There is a bit more maintenance such as cleaning once a week. It’s not hard at all once you get it down. Takes about 20 min to complete. Produces perfect ice and fairly quick. I would buy another in heartbeat. It is a bit pricy but if it last a long time like the other profile series I’ve had I’m good.

Yes, this ice maker makes great ice in a tight spot. It's not a small appliance but does fit nicely on a countertop. The small cubes are perfect for medium-sized glasses. While it does make some noise when pushing out the ice, it isn't loud or distracting. I like the ability to connect to wifi (although I haven't really used that feature a lot) and the built-in light, I purchased the side tank but haven't set it up because it's probably too large and seems unnecessary so far.

The ice maker itself works well and produces good quality of ice. It is pretty loud when making ice (louder than any other appliance in the kitchen). The scheduling function on the app does not work at all. Not the end of the world but you expect those features to work as advertised. Will not buy other “smart” ge appliances as I assume this is a common failure.

I received this ice maker free through an amazon program for an honest review. This ice maker is great. I love the size of the ice nuggets. They aren't too hard but very crunchy & don't hurt my teeth. The machine uses alot of water. I don't use tap water only bottled water. I guess you can use the tap because there is a filter but I don't like the taste of it. I really like the wifi setting. I can start making the ice when I'm on my way home from work or upstairs through the app. Just make sure you have water in the tank or the reserve tank. The only downfall is the cleaning. Which needs to be done every week & the app will let you know it needs to be clean. That takes about 20 to 30 mins because you have to use bleach to cycle through the machine then you need to use water to cycle through the machine about 4 to 5 times to flush it out.

This is the first countertop ice maker I’ve owned so I don’t have much to compare it to, but it works great so far. The ice is perfection. The water that drips out of the bottom when you open the drawer is not ideal, but luckily the provided tray catches it all and I just tip it into the sink.

Didn't think I would use it much, bought it mainly for my better half. I absolutely love it!! I find that I'm drinking more water during the day using nugget ice. We find ourselves making fruit drinks like Brazilian Lemonade every day usually twice a day. I love it, I can't say enough. It is easy o set up and instructions are easy to follow.

Ice machine pumps out ice quickly, simple to use. Ice is good quality. Downsides: not insulated super well, water has condensed in the basket window with no way to take apart to clean. App scheduling interface and capabilities are a bit confusing and difficult to navigate. Fairly heavy, cumbersome to move around for cleaning. Can get loud at times, not sure why. Replacement parts seem insanely expensive or impossible to find. Quite a bit of water drips into tray when you take it out to get ice. Wish you could take back apart to clean inside better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting this up definitely requires some time, but for good cause for disinfection + taste. Personally for me my kitchen fridge doesn't make ice very quickly, and we always run out at parties. It takes about 2-3 hours to fill up the bin, so preparation is key here. I will use this for filling up my yeti coolers for the weekend, making mint juleps, and having nicer crunchy. My dogs also love the crunchy ice that's easier on their teeth.

I like how it makes the ice , i don’t like the sounds. It’s louder than the dish washer or as loud. also I should come with auto clean features that do not require undoing the water tubes - that machine is heavy - not easy on my back to move for cleaning. i would recommend BUT it’s very expensive.
