worth every penny

Way more than I wanted to spend but I couldn't be happier. I love the ice it makes and it stays ahead of me (my old countertop unit could not)

Stopped working after 4 months.

Stopped making ice and keeps defrosting. Deep cleaned as instructed and still doesn't work. Will be returning.

Beautiful machine, worth the money

Delicious nugget ice like sonic and Chick-fil-A! Really makes a difference for cocktails and drinks.

Works great!

We were pleasantly surprised that the opal was the right size/capacity/speed/noise level for us. The ice is just what we dreamed it would be like.

Very obnoxious and loud!

It is extremely loud and sounds like a dying cat every couple of hours. I love the ice but the sound is terrible!

If you haven't already, we would recommend checking out the quick start guide for the Opal icemaker, which has specific steps for getting started with the machine. These will allow you to get ice in about 20 minutes after beginning the ice making process.
