While we’re glad the unit is performing well and you appreciate its rapid production, we regret any inconvenience the ice melting may have caused. As the ice is designed to be softer and chewable, it may melt faster in your drink than other types of ice. Also, as the Opal itself isn’t refrigerated, we do expect some of the ice may melt before you use it; the unit is designed to reuse any meltwater to make more ice.
