My daughters purchased this for my Mother's Day gift because they knew how much I loved Sonic Ice. I'm loving my ice maker. Unfortunately for Sonic I have not returned for their ice because I love my GE Ice so much better. I'm telling everyone.

My family no longer uses the refrigerator ice. Make sure you get the side tank. This will stop when full. If it were cheaper I would buy more and give as gifts.

This is my second Opal. I had an original Opal that failed, I have had this one up and running for a month with no issues. I look forward to get ice for a long tie to come.

Fantastic machine. It is a little costly up-front, but my wife absolutely loves it. Best birthday present I've gotten for her in years. And, to top it off, it is a nice looking appliance. Definitely recommend!

This ice machine is amazing. The little ice cubes it makes are amazing. Only set back is that it has a very loud noise when it is making the ice. We had an older version and it was quiet. This updated version is extremely loud.

We have only had this pebble ice machine for a month, so I can't speak to long-term functionality. But so far it's just perfect - makes plenty of ice, is relatively quiet (not noiseless), and generally makes pebble ice dreams come true.

Love my Opal 2.0 Ice Maker. In the past 2 years I have purchased (3) other cheaper Brand Ice Makers and they did not last a year. This one is by far the best one so far.

This is an awesome ice maker. I have only had it for a few days but the ice is wonderful and it works nicely. Does not make much noise at all. You won't be disappointed
