This is amazing. We used to buy bags of ice almost every other day because I'm an ice freak. Not to mention, this is the best ice EVER. Cleaning and operation is easy and and quick.

My ice machine was under warranty.  It is an Opal 2.0.  After dealing non stop with their warranty department they want to send me a 1.0 refurbished ice maker.  NO.  My 2.0 is new and still under warranty.  But it doesn’t work! They won’t budge.  

Love it. Hate the cleaning, although it's not arduous. Just time consuming. Hint: Found a sturdy large wooden lazy susan to out it on, makes cleaning access easier. Love the wifi connectivity.

I have only had this machine for two weeks so for the moment, I only have positive things to say. I am hoping that I don't experience any of the negative issues from the reviews that I have read.

Makes ice in as little as 10 minutes. The ice starts melting in the ice bin, but it has a drain for the water to return to the water reserve. It makes ice faster than it melts and within an hour you’ve got enough ice for 4 people.

The “good ice” at home has brought a smile to all of our family and friends. And deemed our refrigerator ice maker a complete afterthought that is untouched.

This is the best thing I’ve bought in years! I love having access to the ice I love all day long. I bought it as a treat to have while recovering from surgery, and it doesn’t disappoint. It makes these long days so much easier.

So far this has been a great experience. The setup was easy and the ice maker is really great. It does have a refigerator sound and you can hear the ice when it moves through the end of the tube and when it drops but it isn't bothersome.

Overall we love it and havent had any issues with it. Only had it around a month. It is definitely a bit noiser than I had expected which can be kind of a nuisance

Great ice maker and makes lots of ice. Sometimes it does not pull water from the extra reservoir and I have to add water to make ice. But overall it is a great icemaker and I am glad I bought it. It is pricey but worth it.
