If you like sonic ice, you will LOVE this ice maker. Feel like I am having a sonic drink in the comfort of my home every day! Did not realize just how much I would enjoy this ice maker!

My wife is very pleased with this ice maker i gave her for Christmas since she loves the nugget ice from the hospital so now she has the opportunity to have it at home with a push of a button.

Our whole family enjoys our ice maker, we can't remember what is way like before our Opal! It is quiet and it is easy to refill the water tank. Pellet ice is the best!

Could be better all the features don't work well it will stop making ice when it supposed to but will not restart unless you restart it have never seen a defrost mode

Second day of ownership, the ice maker continues to ask for water. Try all the troubleshooting, got it to make ice one more time. Now it's either making ice (but not) or asking for water still. This is going back.

I'm very happy with my GE ice maker. It's nice to have a ready supply of pellet ice. The appliance takes up very little of my counter space and it is very attractive.

It makes ice just like Sonic ice and FAST! It just keeps cranking it out and only occasionally have we used its full capacity (only when using the ice bag on a sore knee). Everything we hoped it would be.

We did research prior to this purchase for a great ice maker, this product meets and exceeds all of our expectations! The ice maker was easy to set up, easy to clean and whisper quiet. We are very pleased with this choice, Thanks!

I love the Opal 2.0 it makes ice quickly stays cold for a while, fairly easy to clean, and the buffet ice is just top tier! I'm less enthusiastic about the app as I've had a few issues with it, but the opal 2.0 itself is amazing!

As a constant ice chewer I've been dying for a machine that gives me ice that isn't going to destroy my teeth. This machine is a god send that is chic while also effective.
