the pop up spring is week . doesn't pop up all the way . I don't know if mine is defective or there all like that I'm thinking all because it's like that on both sides . I'll probably take it apart and put new springs in but real you had to go for a cheep spring . Makes me think the whole thing was made cheaply . I'm 65 and I know thing aren't made to last anymore but there is a point when it's just made to cheaply . Oh is this under warranty please let me know .

Just received this new toaster. Plugged it in to cure the interior as instructed and all coils working as they should. Put in some bread to toast and set shade dial and turned it on. The toast came out evenly browned and not all dried out. toaster works great.

We've had this toaster for several months and so far are very satisfied. It takes a few times to learn where you want to set the dial for your satisfaction. If you like to keep a cover on your toaster, you will find it very difficult to find one that will fit.

This toaster is awesome. I bought it to match all of the rest of the brand new GE products that I got in a kitchen appliance package deal. It works best for my elderly father, and my younger cousins. We all love the fact that you can use the lever and lift it up a decent amount where you do not get burned and it's stays there to retrieve whatever item you just got done toasting. Great product highly recommended.

Love my new GE toaster. Even browning all over slice of bread. Amazing . Frozen button great when you forget to get bread from freezer. And pushing frozen button with same toaster setting. No change in browsers. Great toaster and wanted to buy another but no more stock on line. I have a total GE kitchen & I love all my appliances. Big or small. 100% great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing toaster! I've always had a two-slide toaster so I was excited to have a 4-slice one for the kitchen. Everyone at home eats toast for breakfast so toasting bread is an every day occurrence and is now twice as fast. Each half has the basic functions such as shade level, cancel and bagel setting. I also like that each side has it's own crumb tray for clean up. The bread comes out evenly toasted and I can vary the shade level independently on each side. The finish is metallic which fits in well with my other appliances. Overall I really like this toaster!

I LOVE that each side has it's own separate controls so even while it can toast 4... you have different options for each side. It does a great job toastin. Simple controls makes it very easy to use and it looks awesome on my counter!

This toaster is very nice. Love the lighted buttons and selections available. Seems to toast evenly, without having to turn your bread. Yay! Wish the slots were just a tiny bit wider, but handles a bagel fairly well. Frozen waffles toasted right the first time, when pushing the 'frozen' button.
