[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this toaster several times now and have not had any problems. It makes my toast a nice golden brown on both sides. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. It’s a little bulky but not too bad for a four slice toaster.

Finally had to get a new toaster after 20 years and noticed the great brand name and design of this toaster. It is very affordable and will look nice with my stainless steel appliances in my new kitchen. I know several people who have recommended GE products and I have several.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this toaster. It’s got 4 hefty slots for bread and multiple toast level settings. The slots are wide and deep enough for bagels, waffles, English muffins, and thick-cut bread. The settings are also varied enough that you can get anything from a very light brown to a deep crust. It doesn’t take super long, and the toast pops up well. My favorite thing is that you can set the settings for each side individually, so you can pick your favorite, and not have to reset it every time someone else uses the toaster.

I received a toaster/oven/airfryer for Christmas, then gave my old toaster away. While I really like the Christmas gift appliance, it did not toast bread or bagels well at all. After researching different toasters, I bought the GE 4 slice toaster, and love it's functions and reliability. I can depend on it to make perfect toast, toasted bagels, and toast perfect frozen waffles every time! LOVE IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using a toaster oven for many years now, but it doesn’t toast my bread slices or bagels evenly or quickly. This toaster does that and very well. Also, the brushes chrome nicely goes with all of my other kitchen appliances, but I do have to say that this 4 piece model does take up a good amount of counter space.

I have been searching for a good toaster for months now! I thought this was it. It’s super sleek looking and sturdy - but unfortunately it does not get the bread darker - had to do each slice twice - regardless of which setting I used. I ended up returning it. Search continues!

We really like how easy it is to select the type of function and the degree of browning on the front of the toaster. Also like the ability to place the cord under the toaster in the right place for function ease. The only down side is that the sides of the toaster get hot to the touch after use. Would like to see this change.

We went from a 2-slice toaster to this one. The stainless steel look is really nice, with the housing and buttons/slide also stainless steel. The outside of the toaster stays cools irrespective of how many slices you're toasting. The top of the toaster, however, and to be expected, is very hot. So, keep your hands away from the stainless steel on the top of the unit. When you toast, the Cancel button will illuminate in the event you need to stop the toasting process before completion. Two additional buttons, Bagel and Frozen, also illuminate if you chose one of them. All in all, we are enjoying this toaster and believe it is deserving of a 5-star review.

Love my new GE toaster. Even browning all over slice of bread. Amazing . Frozen button great when you forget to get bread from freezer. And pushing frozen button with same toaster setting. No change in browsers. Great toaster and wanted to buy another but no more stock on line. I have a total GE kitchen & I love all my appliances. Big or small. 100% great.

I had high expectations for this toaster, given the high ratings online and being from GE. Unfortunately, I returned it to the store after only a couple days. It does not toast both sides evenly – not even close, (see pictures). At the 4.5 setting, one side is dark and the other is very light. (No, it wasn’t on the ‘bagel’ setting.) Upon further inspection and testing, I noticed that only about half of the heating elements in all the slots were glowing red and in a haphazard pattern. No wonder the toasting is inconsistent! Toasters are not some new technology. How hard is it to ensure that all the heating elements glow when the toaster is in use?? Very disappointing.
