We had an inexpensive 2 slot toaster, it worked fine. The need for a 4 slot toaster with a Bagel setting was a plus! Everyone in the house likes this and it comes out perfect! Just be sure of the setting you like because that is what you get. So worth the price!

The toaster is attractive, easy to use, and appears well made. Would have given 5 stars, but initially the levers would not stay down. However, the levers just need a little more finesse, rather than just pushing down. And, there's a light that comes on when they are in the correct position.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster, although quite basic in appearance, performs a wide variety of toasting tasks. It has four toasting slots which are wide enough to toast bagels as well as bread. It also has the ability to toast goods from frozen. I found the controls quite easy to understand and operate. The same controls are present on each side of the front of the toaster, one set of controls for each pair of slots. It has the usual control which allows you to select how brown you want your toast to be or otherwise. I always find a "cancel" button to be very useful and this toaster has one of those. GE is a brand that I am very familiar with, and this item works well, having all the functions I need.

I got this toaster as a gift, to replace an old one. It's a beautiful design. It's a little slow to toast, compared to other toasters I've had, but that's okay. I think it's a little slow because I like my toast light, and so it goes slow so as not to burn it. It does a great job on that. I love it!

Looks great on the dark granite countertop. Excellent design and the external does not get hot even at the highest setting. The toast browns almost evenly on both sides of bread, unlike the other toasters I have had in the past 25 years in which one side browns at the setting while the other side is almost burnt. This toaster, so far since I've only toasted on slice of honey wheat bread, is perfect. The underside cord holder is a plus so there isn't a lot of cord, even with a twist tie, dangling around to the outlet. The wide slots are truly wide for bagels. Another great feature is that the finished toasting pop-up is at the right height. This toaster's handles do not allow to go beyond the manufacturer's adjustment.

Looks great. Like that it has 4 slots and adjustable toast color by number. I like that the cord can be wrapped under the bottom and come out in various places. Only suggestion would be to make the plug in flat with downward angle so it fits closer to the wall.

I was forced to purchase a new toaster when my Cusinieart toaster failed, after only having it for one year. Finally, after many searches and reading review, I landed on the GE Stainless Steel toaster. I was not aware GE had a toaster line! Not only does it toast my bagels and muffins to perfection, it's also nice and sleek and it perfectly matches all of my other appliances and kitchen color scheme. Needless to say the functionality is excellent, it's an ideal small kitchen appliance made by the experts. Thank you GE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great toaster. It has all the standard settings that you would expect from a toaster. It toasts bagel and frozen items. The most amazing aspect of this toaster was how evenly it toasts. i have never had an item that was then same uniform color all the way out to the crusts. The pull out cleaning trays are great also as you do not need to flip the toaster over to gain access for cleaning. Overall this toaster is a great addition to our kitchen.

Our toaster arrived on time, well packaged. It's actually nicer looking than it appears in the ad. So far it has toasted everything we've put in it easily and well. It handles thicker items (e.g. bagels) with ease. It's a nice step uf for our family.

It has features for diff kinds of breads and wider openings for all the diff breads as well such as bagels Texas toast ect I love that each of the 4 slots has its own settings so everyone can get their bread toasted to perfection the way they like. Great toaster it looks very nice and high end and goes great with the rest of our appliances in our kitchen. Nicest toaster I've had yet to date.
