Just ok

How did these get past the Utz taste testers? Like eating sand with protein powder. Horrible product from a company the usually makes excellent snack foods.

I actually think they’re pretty decent for the extra protein! I love pretzels for a snack along with an ice cold soda- esp when a snack attack hits but I’m trying to watch my snacking %26 get added protein. I decided to try since they were priced decently and I was impressed. Yes, a tad diff flavor than a regular pretzel but to me it’s just a diff brand. I’m really surprised at all the negative reviews, honestly, because I like them.

If you want to get out of all future social functions, being these to share to just one party. I guarantee you will be intentionally left off all invitation lists in the future. I honestly can't believe the food engineers at Utz let this get produced. Maybe someone at Utz accidentally ate a mouthful of climbing chalk and liked it. Maybe they just hate their job. They were on clearance at my club for $0.51, and I know exactly why. Yep, FIFTY-ONE CENTS. And I feel like I overpaid by fifty cents. This is one of those items that I wish they gave out samples for, so that I could just stand there and watch people spit them out. This is the first review I've written for a Sam's item in my many years of membership, because it's simple that terrible. Texture: powdered chalk. Flavor profile: salted drywall. Oof.

The taste was bland and you only get a pretzel flavor on the backend of the chip. The texture is like eating a dehydrated pretzel, its a very dry crunch if that makes sense. Will not even eat anymore after a few. I get things with added protein will not be exactly like the original but this wasn't even close.

Absolutely horrible. I don't even know what Pea Protein is, but whatever it is, it ruined these pretzels. The worst part, outside of the nasty taste, is that a herd of elephants stomped on the bag; all that remained were pretzels bits not whole pretzels. Do not buy these--you will be disappointed.

I eat a lot of protein items being on a glp diet. These are by far one of the best. You feel full rather quickly eating these - I noticed some comments said dry - after a few it reminds me a little of dried chick peas but not that dry. My bag arrived with the pretzels in a million pieces but honestly this made them easier to snack on. They are crisp and flavorful my family are big pretzel eaters and even those not looking for protein enjoyed them.

Im pretty surprised at how well these pass for tasting like regular pretzels. Like I think at the most theres a very faint flavor difference that isnt bad at all imo. And I think theres a minimal change in texture, maybe takes a bit longer to chew / doesn’t dissolve in your mouth as quickly as a normal pretzel would. Pretty much no reason I wouldnt get these instead now besides the price.

These are great. I've tried many different protein chips and snack mixes. This tastes basically the same as pretzels. Perhaps a tad dry, but that would be of you were realllly looking for a difference.
