This pie is nothing special. Especially at this time of year - summer - when berries are in season. This pie has taken the place of the far better cherry pie. There isn't much fruit or filling in this pie. You'll see the occasional blob of blackberry or strawberry. But the filling is three-quarters maybe one inch of mostly starch thickened goo. The main flavor is of strawberries. The crust is inoffensive. Tender, crumbly even. Neutral flavor, which is a plus, considering the way it could taste had SC chosen a flavored shortening or the shortening was not fresh. The crumb topping is similar - inoffensive, but doesn't taste of much. The topping is soft because the pie is stored at room temperature. Other notes: It freezes well. Slice, freeze, then slice again. Also, this pie might be vegan / plant-based. I see no animal products in the ingredient list, but that is no guarantee. One goes to SC for the higher quality and unique groceries and other items. But recently SC has had a re-branding with a new logo. They want us to forget about the old Sam's Club, the old prices, the old items they used to sell. This pie is new Sam's Club. I wouldn't spit this pie out, but I wouldn't recommend it highly. It will do.

So happy berry pie is back!! Loaded with fruit and crumb topping is perfect balance. I bought this for Thanksgiving 2 years ago and my guests and family couldn't stop eating it. We ate 3 pies. You won't be disappointed.

Not a fan. The inside was runny like they added too much water. The top is delicious but that was overtaken by the thin filling and sub par bottom crust. Will not purchase again.
