The take home is only good for one person but can last for about a year so whenever you need it you can go ahead and take it. You do not have to dig the swab all the way up your nose like at the doctor's/ hospital. It's a comfortable way to take the test especially for those 2 year old. Keep in mind this test can be used on ages 2 and up. I recommend to have something like this around the house just incase.
