there is something in this bread...I've eaten it twice. both times I broke out in large hives...like welts all over my face arms chest and neck. I do I'd like the texture and one piece with some sugar free jam was substantial. but I can't eat it without getting an allergic reaction. be careful with this one!!

I'm a huge fan of Lewis Bake Shop breads. I buy them all the time. The multigrain is my go to!! So i noticed this one and wanted to try it. Not really a fan. It's good toasted. But using as is for sandwiches, it has a strange, very dense spongy/elastic like texture. Maybe i'm not liking it bc i normally don't eat white bread? I'm a whole wheat/multigrain girl. So this one is going to be a no for me.

This bread has so many not so healthy ingredients and I truly wish I would’ve read the label before my purchase . I was excited to try it and had a horrible stomachache after. It has a very weird taste. I wouldn’t buy it again. Gave it to a friend who eats these types of breads

I’m trying to eat healthier and trying different breads with high protein and fiber content. This one is my favorite out of 5 so far! Thicker slices and softer bread. Great for sandwiches and French toast! All of these breads are more expensive but this one is much less than most.

Slices are very thick; thicker than I like for sandwich bread. That said, it’s good for its protein and carb count so its good for diet conscious people. It’s pricey for the size of the loaf, but again it doesn’t have all the junk that regular bread does.

This was an excellent bread in terms of its nutritional values, but an unusual texture prevents it being my favorite. This bread has excellent protein and fiber values, truly outstanding. A simple sandwich goes from being a bunch of carb calories into a reasonable meal. I am cheap and the price is high but, in my mind, worth it. The texture is strange, unlike common bread, more springy. That's not a deal breaker for me though. I got two loaves and by the second loaf, I had become accustomed to it.

I am trying to gain weight following illness and thought this bread would help but I could not eat it. It clogged up in my mouth, hard to swallow. It was like eating paper. Strange taste. I threw half of it away and it cost almost $7 for a small loaf. Will not buy again.

The slices are thick, fluffy, and dense. It has an odd taste but not odd enough to make you put it down. It left my mouth tingly. Not totally sure what’s going on with this bread but it’s hard to beat the macros.

While this bread offers many positives with high protein, vitamins and a thicker texture than similar bread, this was a no for me due to an extremely funky aftertaste. I failed to add a substitute for a similar item I had placed in my cart so this was chosen for me which was over $2 higher than my choice. I had high hopes for this keto friendly bread due to aforementioned positives but I cannot get over the distinctive unpleasant aftertaste (perhaps the vitamins?). Unfortunately I wouldn’t purchase again.

Great for keto when you’re trying to lower cholesterol also. May take a little getting used to the higher density.
