Bread was dry even though the best used date was 4 days left. I am assuming Walmart is freezing or ref. the bread which seems to dry out some breads. I am going to use it for french toast so it really doesn't matter however, if I was using it for something else I would be returning it. This is the second time I have bought bread from Walmart and it was dry. Will not be buying breads from Walmart again.

This bread was a substitution in one of my grocery orders and we haven’t bought another kind since! My family raves about the flavor and texture and how it always tastes so fresh. The slices are a little bit thicker than your typical sliced bread which makes them a bit heartier for sandwiches.

It's soft, yet firm and absolutely perfect for any grilled sandwich. The perfect thickness for French Toast. It's now my go to bread from breakfast sandwich to bbq pulled pork and a childhood favorite sloppy joes and of course burgers with all the fixings.

I have always been a bread eater, mainly because I love sandwiches. I have tried every brand and every type loaf bread there is and none come close to this bread. It is always fresh, doesn't go bad fast and the taste is amazing! I buy 2 loafs at a time and there is never a wasted piece. Everybody in my house loves it. Good job Sara Lee!

This bread is absolutely delicious, so soft.. so chewy.. so yummy.. I love this bread. I don't eat it anymore due to the diet I'm on, but I always look at the loaf sitting on my counter, imagining the deliciousness. Then I remind myself that loaf has been sitting on my counter for about three months now. It's use by date is March 16, 2018. And yet, it's still soft. It's still white. It shows no sign of mold or decay. If I was to take this bread and put it back on the shelf in the store, no one would be the wiser. What do they make this out of? It's immortal! If I was able to eat this bread in my diet, I still would. It's that good. Just.. remember to check the date. I will continue to watch my half-loaf of Sara Lee Artesano Style Bread with envious glee for it's youthful appearance. Maybe one day it'll grow old..

I have not had good luck with any wheat bread I have purchased prior to Sara Lee's Artesano bread--I always thought I was intolerant to wheat and quit eating any bread. I was in Walmart and saw a sale on this bread. I can't believe that I bought it knowing my intolerance to wheat. A girl at the self checkout commented that she bought it and loved it! So I decided to give it a chance--and I'm sure glad I did! It is the only wheat bread that I can eat with no intolerance, and I LOVE it. It tastes so good, and has great consistency. I sure hope I can always buy this bread as it is the only bread I can eat. I don't know what the difference is in the wheat used, but I am not intolerant to this at all! Hmm, maybe it isn't the wheat--maybe the other producers use something in their bread I am intolerant to. Don't know, but I LOVE the Artesano bread!

I just bought a Sara Lee artesian bread not knowing that it has been eaten by a mice. I did not inspect the product before I checked out because I was confident that the store will only display products that have been inspected and to secure costumers trust. I would like to have a full refund and compensation for the inconvenience and loss of time and gas. Thank you
