These are Great and they go perfectly with my home! I bought the first set of these from Home Depot (these are Step 2 planters) loved them. Second round I saved some Money and I bought from Sam's. I set mine up like a traditional planter so they don't hold water but there are instructions and supplies to set them up to self water ...don't throw away the stuff that looks like advertising! Don't believe the low rating here!

Great planters! I read a previous review and wanted to clarify that there are instructions about how/where to drill holes for drainage.

No drain holes. Though it might be for self-watering but it’s not. After I already planted a tree in this pot and the sides are bowing and bent. Finally had to drill a hole in the side.

Looks great. Size is great. Everything else is garbage. I bought 7 of these as we were thrilled with looks and size. By the second day, the sun and maybe combined with pressure from potting soil has forced lopsided bubbles down some of the sides with other sides sucking in. I wouldn’t be surprised that within a couple of weeks to see these collapse or completely buckle. Now to see how to return items with the giant hassle of transplanting.

why are there no instruments with these self watering planters that have a reservoir? there are no instruments about how to make the holes in the bottom for the water to drain, etc. Shame on the designer of them to miss the most important information beside the size.

NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED....CAN ANYONE SHARE THE ONES THEY HAVE... I see little adjustable screws on top of the reservoir but no instructions...THen Sams says they dont keep instructions ...WHY NOT PUT THEM ON THE SITE....so reckless
