It’s fun to try a Canadian favorite, but giving it 4 stars mostly for the ingredients like canola oil being the primary oil, and there are a few additives like maltodextrin and MSG that I try to limit. That said, it’s a snack, and for an occasional treat, these are definitely worth it.

I was a little worried they would taste like bbq but they absolutely did not. They are savory and sweet! Just a perfect blend! Nice a crunchy, but not greasy! I will be buying these again! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have nothing but respect for Canada’s chip game. While these won’t replace my one true love (❤️ ketchup chips ❤️), I really enjoyed these! I don’t taste much of the sour cream and onion, but the flavor to me was like a very acidic barbecue sauce. I love the kick of the sea salt and vinegar combined with the classic barbecue sauce flavor.

Lays combined the tastes of their most popular flavors: Barbecue, Salt & Vinegar and Sour Cream & Onion. These chips are perfect for someone like me. I like regular BBQ 🍖 chips and Sour Cream & Onion chips but I could never eat more than an hand full of each due to the flavor being a little to heavy for my pallet. But these chips are like the perfect mix 🤩🤩🤩. They literally taste like a light BBQ flavored chip. These chips are perfect for someone who has a light pallet, which means they’re also great for kids. The packaging is cute and describes the product accurately. The chips are very soft and only slightly crunchy.

The texture and crunchiness is great! Packaging pops with the colors of purple, orange and yellow hues. Overall, great product. Will be purchasing again!

It was my comfort food during a tumultuous breakup. And it was the only thing that made me happy, because my ex at the time hated Canada, so I of course embraced everything wholesome about Canada, including these chips. But somehow I'm not sure if my palate has changed or I remember them different or the flavoring of the chips have changed but they're not how I remember them. Or maybe we just don't make them as good as the Canadians do. But they are not quite five star material. Give us the Canadian version! we want the good version!!! I'm just kidding these are tangy and sweet and tangy and a hint of barbecue and a hint of something else that you just can't put your finger on it and do I remember them being in a ruffle style chip? If not can I remember that? That is the only thing that would make this top notch!

Unfortunately, they weren’t what I thought they’d be. Although a lot of people seem to enjoy these, I thought they were a little too tangy for me. Apparently, these are supposed to be a combination of flavors (sour cream and onion, barbecue, salt and vinegar). Well, let me tell you, you can definitely taste the salt and vinegar in these, and if that’s your thing, I would definitely recommend this for you, but that’s definitely not for me Other than that, I love the texture, I love the crunchiness, I love everything else about them; I just wish they were a little less salt and vinegary.

At first I was overwhelmed by the salt and vinegar note but after a few chips the other flavor notes level out. The result is a flavor I can't quite describe but definitely enjoyed a lot. I'd very likely buy these for myself in the future!
