It’s a good weird 😂 the packaging is normal Lays packaging, but it does give us ideas of the flavors that they incorporated. As far as texture, crunch. And freshness, all good like any Lays chips. Oh and apparently if you watch Letterkenny, the name of these chips will start a group chat conversation with some giggles.

It says they are a combination of savory like sour cream and onion, tangy like salt and vinegar, and sweet like barbecue... and yes they are! I wasn't a big fan of them. But I also don't care for salt and vinegar chips. My kids absolutely loved them though. So much so that I have already bought 2 more bags since receiving these. I'm definitely down to try more unique flavors though so keep thinking outside the box Lays!

They are a crazy flavor explosion in your mouth. I tasted the salt and vinegar and barbecue but not the sour cream and onion. None of the flavors over powered each other. They actually paired pretty well. I was hesitant on these at first. I'm a salt and vinegar lover so I liked these a lot.

Each chip tastes like a combo of all three flavors, with variations on the “base” flavor intensity. There was a good crunch and the packaging is giving gamer meets backyard bbq vibes. Overall I feel like I personally prefer other flavors, but could see it being an interesting pick for an office gathering, summer backyard bbq, or an interesting late night gaming snack.

It’s fun to try a Canadian favorite, but giving it 4 stars mostly for the ingredients like canola oil being the primary oil, and there are a few additives like maltodextrin and MSG that I try to limit. That said, it’s a snack, and for an occasional treat, these are definitely worth it.
