They are a tangy version of bbq chips. Good but not as different as I expected them to be. Good but not worth all the hype.

Now with the flavor, is was just too difficult to say it tastes like something. They almost taste like the original, with a twist.

The flavors come in waves: first salt & vinager, 2nd sour cream and onion, 3rd BBQ. As always these Lay's chips are crunchy and evenly flavorful. My family loved these! I do wish there was more of the salt & vinegar flavor though, I’m a huge fan of that flavor and I think it would have been amped up even more in these chips! Otherwise, they are still tasty. I also like the purple bag. A fun new Lays flavor for us Americans!

The packaging shows the different flavors which are savory sour cream, tangy salt and vinegar, and sweet BBQ. These flavors go great together. no flavor over powers the other, especially the salt and vinegar. it's just a light flavor of each. With summer around the corner add these to any BBQ, you can't go wrong.
