Sam's gave me a sample for an honest review. These cupcakes are stunning to look at. They are just creative and beautiful. Now the chocolate cake was delicious. I did not care for the lemon flavor. Overall they were moist and beautiful. They would not be my first pick but they are not horrible.

The detail in the frosting design was impressive, but the cream was a bit too sweet and thick for my liking. I would have preferred it softer and more flavorful. The fillings inside, especially in the lemon and chocolate cupcakes, were interesting and added a nice touch. The size was bigger than normal cup cakes. It's almost a two people portion.

Our package's description said “chocolate and lemon gourmet cupcakes “. I ate a few bites of a “lemon” one and it tasted awful. It didn't taste like lemon or vanilla or anything, just bad. I asked my family to try a bite but, only one would. The others said that they saw the face I made while I tried it, there was no way they were going to try it. One person did. She had the same things to say about it. She thinks the baker forgot to add any flavor. I will not buy these again.

The frosting was yummy!! The cupcake decor was outstanding. They are very cute for a spring time bridal shower or baby shower. The frosting is a little messy but oh so delicious.

I received a free sample for my honest review. The cupcakes look very beautiful. The ornate frosting flowers would look elegant for any fancy occasion. However, there is a LOT of frosting on the cupcakes. It makes it very hard to eat with that much frosting. Also it is the thick buttercream that is just too sweet. The cake portion tastes fine but the size of it is just too much for one serving of cupcake.

I received a free sample for my honest review. The white with lemon center were moist and the chocolate was a little dry. Both were still very delicious. The icing was very good - maybe a little too soft but still very good. The flower decorations are pretty and will dress up a table.

The cupcakes are very pretty. Other than that, I did not care for them at all. The frosting taste weird definitely not butter cream as advertised and everybody is complaining about it being too sweet. I found it to be bland and weird tasting. I have eaten two of the cupcakes and neither of them had filling in them. The cake is dry and nothing to brag about. I was disappointed I expected better. At least if you're gonna advertise butter cream use real buttercream frosting this is not.
