I have had my cushion for about 8 years and would be lost without it. I mainly use it in our older car and when we travel long distances. I am going to purchase a second one to use on my chair at my computer desk. I have purchased two other seat cushions from Bed Bath and Beyond for my computer room and they don't come close to the quality and comfort of the Tempur-Pedic. It would be nice if they offered more than one size for larger people. I'm small so this one is perfect for me. I also have the LumbarCushion. My cousin had problems while driving and I let him borrow my cushion when he came to visit me. He got out of his car when he got to my house and could hardly walk. So on the way home, 600 miles away, he used my cushion and had a great trip home. He now owns one himself.

This current model added the contour design. The previous design was just a solid piece and not contoured. It was the same material and no matter who used the cushion, it would contour to your body. This model can be very uncomfortable with the hard center piece. I sit at work 8 hours a day and use the older version as it is more comfortable than the newer model.

This cushion is extremely comfortable! I have one in my office chair, one at home, and one for my elderly mother, who takes it everywhere! However, I am terribly disappointed that the current version of this cushion no longer has a carry handle or a grey vinyl backside (for writing the owner's name & phone number in case it is misplaced.) I highly recommend it for comfort.

I love this cushion! I am very sensitive to chairs and had warn my chair's padding out and with going back to school it was causing me a ton of pain. With this cushion it's better than the original. I have a different cushion my work purchased for about the same cost and their is no comparison. Don't waste time with other "memory foams" the name speaks for itself.

I received my cushion on Monday, January 6, 2014. I gave it a whole business week and found this to be such a terrible product. It put my spine out of alignment for my chair. I tried putting it in the front of the chair. back of the chair, middle. I leaned forward, back, nothing helped. I have the Temper Cloud bed and I love it. I thought this would be the same. It is not! Yes the foam does conform, however, it just switched the pain to a different location. Now that I sat on it I can't return it according to their information in the details of the product. I should have trusted my first instinct and got the travel pillow instead. $10 cheaper and I'm sure would be easier to place on my chair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We brought 2 of these pillows in 2006 when we were taking a trip to Africa and were so pleased with them that now that one of the pillow cover has stretch that We need another. We have used them on lots trips, at home playing card, my husband use one in his deer stand when hunting. The only thing I miss on this new one is the carry handle, it was great when traveling. Hope you consider making one again with the handle.

I use the Jazzy Passport wheelchair for day to day use (since April 2021), and while it's lightweight and convenient, it doesn't provide the support needed for comfort and appropriate posture. I had a DME order for cushions to prevent damage to my ligaments, but due to supply chain issues, no store in my area had anything available. I purchased both the seat cushion and lumbar cushion and have used them consistently in my wheelchair since. The size of the seat cushion matches my wheelchair, and it supports my body correctly and safely. It can also be transferred to another chair easily as I transfer. I had the cushions in my possession about 48 hours after purchase, rather than the weeks quoted by the DME stores. I was SO grateful and noticed significant pain relief from proper positioning in about 2 additional days. This allowed me to continue working effectively with my wheelchair. My only concern is that eventually I'll need a new cover for the seat cushion and will have to make my own, as I don't see replacements available.

The Good: - good memory foam material, which molds to your body - It's my personal preference to not have a hole for the tail bone. The Bad: - The width of the cushion should be larger - The molding and raised ridges don't really help and are a bit annoying because that assumes a once size fits all. If Tempurpedic wants to keep the raised ridges, they should reduce it by 50% or eliminate it completely.

It seems from reading the reviews that me being 72" tall and 210 pounds my rear end would be large for this cushion? I am not over weight but I think what people are saying that the cushion would be a better item if it was 20" or so??? I'll wait for an updated size or go buy another type pad(:(:

It is a cushion so I do not actually sleep on it!. Why is that question a part of this review? Does Tempurpedic actually care? Cushion is also too small for me to be comfortable. Even though I am not a large person the size of the cushion does not fit my backbone and hips comfortably. I have chronic paid and arthiritus in my hips. Also have a rear end that is thinly padded as are a lot of people I see. Especially those with a little accumulated age. Even is tempurpedic had to charge a little more they would actually have more saftisfied customers rather than a lot that buy it just once and then let it set unused. I doubt that tempurpedic reads these or cares as I have seen many in this same vein. I even have an older flat one which is more usable because it is flat. I actually prefer the memory foam one that I have because of large size.
