Only tested this cord for voltage loss so far. Using this as emergence extension cord to charge Tesla Model S P85D from regular house outlet. This car is equipped with low voltage sensor and draws the full 12 amps allowed from an ordinary house outlet and will not work with regular small wire extension cords. This cord worked perfectly and showed very low voltage loss. So although I cannot comment on the duribility, I can report the wires are truely large gauge with low voltage loss for the length.

The ends were supposed to light up when in use. Only 1 side lights up. Also, the heavy gauge cord seems to have twisted in parts of the cover. The cord works well, it really heavy and despite the above issues, I think it's easier to keep the cord. I am testing out the cord now on a refrigerator to make sure it works.
