Listen. I ordered the Martha Stewart 2-Pack Heirloom Jacquard Down Alternative pillows thinking, “Eh, pillows, how exciting can they get?” I was not prepared. Night one: I flopped my head down and immediately levitated three inches off the mattress. Not metaphorically. My soul left my body, did a little twirl, thanked me for finally giving it a proper throne, and slid back in like it was checking into a 5-star resort in the Maldives. I woke up eight hours later speaking fluent French and with the posture of a Victorian duchess. Night two: The pillows unionized. I swear they whispered to each other while I was in the bathroom. When I came back they had rearranged themselves into a perfect fortress. I now sleep inside a cloud palace guarded by two very judgmental rectangular geese who refuse to let gravity touch me. Night five: One of them challenged me to a duel because I accidentally called it “just a pillow” within earshot. We fought with pool noodles at 3 a.m. It won. I now pay tribute in lavender spray and gentle fluffing twice daily. They're so supportive that my neck filed a complaint with HR for “lack of work.” My chiropractor sent me a breakup text. Stated out great! Soft and squishy but flattened to nothing within 2 weeks. Super bummed.

These pillows became one big hard lump, which is most uncomfortable to sleep on.

Appear nice and fluffy. Lay your head down and the pillow goes flat so you might as well be laying on the mattress.

First, not at all like any other "down-alternative" pillow that I've had before. These are either nylon or polyester because they create so much static electricity that my hair sticks to my face, and they have no substance without doubling them over. Most importantly, I cannot use them because of the smell they emit - still, after a week. complete water of money.
