Something has changed quality is terrible. I had 3 hoses crack and fall apart. They are very brittle and not holding up. I bought two extra hoses while on sale for later use and returned them. I know other people with the same issue.

I bought this hose in August 2016 as it was it was much less expensive than others available. I have used almost every day since and it is great. I saw the comments about the hose kinking so to try to avoid this before I used it I extended the hose where it would get sunlight most of the day and left it there for two days before I started using and recoiling after use and I have had no kinks. I would buy again.

I bought this hose at my local Sams Club. I connected to the faucet while my daughter was holding the other end with nozzle. It just broke at the nozzle end after barely 5 seconds use. This is the worst product I ever purchased. Returned it right away for a refund. Save yourself aggravation and wasting your time going back to Sams to return this piece of junk. This product doesn' t qualify for even a single star!! VN, Dothan, AL

They say they are kink resistant and water will continue to flow even if they do kink, but every one I have purchased have kinked badly, and the water doesn't continue to flow when they kink. Obviously they know these hoses are junk because they originally had a lifetime warranty, you don't find that on the packaging any more!

I now have 3 of these in this latest version. This review is NOT a reflection of the original version which was a black hose with a yellow stripe and BRASS fittings. This latest version has been our now a few years and I made the mistake of buying 2 more beefier I realized just HOW BAD this hose is. IT'S NOT PROFESSIONAL GRADE IT KINKS ... HORRIBLY! IT CRACKS IN LESS THAN 1 YEAR IT SNAGS AND KINKS WHEN YOU DRAG IT AROUND FENCE CORNERS OR YOUR HOUSE IT HAS ALUMINUM TYPE FITTINGS THAT WILL CORRODE ONTO YOUR BRASS FAUCETS (tube original black hose version had brass fittings). RUN! JUST RUN AWAY FROM THIS CRAPPY HOSE AS FAST AS YOU CAN IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL GRADE HOSE Shame on SC for selling this crap as professional grade. Is absolute garbage. Sam's Club switch from a "major brand" APEX to have their own Members Mark manufactured. As soon as I unrolled and turned on water, there was barely a flow.. Following the hose I found 2 kinks that are permanent and could not remove. I went back to the store and found that its due to the poor packaging. 2 things, The 3 white straps that hold the hose together with retail cardboard are so tight that it did cause a kink. Also they put the white straps right next to the metal hose ends that dug into the hose to create that permanent dent or know kink. In addition, the weight of the hoses sitting on each other on the pallet put extra pressure on those areas. I pointed it out the assistant store manager. Brand Name products sell better, You take dollars to the bank, not margins..
