Not worth it

Kink resistant is not correct. The only thing it does is kink! I've used it twice and both times I've spent fifteen minutes trying to unkink it to wind it back up.

Quality is not what it once was

I have purchased about 6 of these over the years. They are not as durablw as they once were and have fused togethee as well as to my hose cart. Any suggestions on seperating them?

Bad hose

I have bought many of these hoses. This year i had to rebuy 2 hoses for my yard. Thee worst hose i have purchased. It kinks way to easy. Fittings leak. I was buying again because of my past experience.

Not for Pressure Washer use

The hose itself is a nice quality, doesn't kink and is fine for garden/yard use. However, the fittings are not high quality. If you are planning to use this hose to do any pressure washing, I would not recommend it. After a one-time use of pressure washing the patio and walkway, the hose leaks around both ends and they need to be replaced.

Won't buy this hose again.

We took it out to use it for the first time today. I hooked it to another hose to be able to reach where I needed it and it is leaking from the bottom of the yellow grip and from the small holes on the sides of the grip. I have bought this same hose 2 times before and never have had this problem. There is so much water coming from the grip that it is hard to get pressure. To return it I have to drive over an hour. I am not happy to say the least.

Great Hose for the money - one minor problem

I've had the hose for I tyhin 3 years. For the money this hose can't be beat. It is long, tough but still flexible with little kinking. The only issue is with the hose connectors using brass quick connectors. Once attached and after prolonged us, as others have experienced, iy is impossible to remove the quick connectors. I'm fairly confident that the threaded connectors on the hose are aluminum. Brass and aluminum do not get along - the hose connector threads and quick connector threads end up dusing together making it impossible to remove them. It's called galvanic corrosion. Didn't even think about that when I bought the hose. The fix is to cut off the frozen end and install a new male threaded end. Not the endo f the world, a slight nuisance. I would highly recommend a warning be placed on the packaging warning of the risk using brass fittings with it.

as hose gets older - disgusting water comes out

We've had a couple of these hoses for a few years. 1) They kink, but really, most hoses kink no matter how much they claim not to. 2) Real Issue: At first, the water seemed ok when we used them - but after having and using them a while - now - EVERY time we use them - a very gross looking stream of water comes out until you flush them out for a long time. The gross water looks like a very soapy concoction - well beyond the more typical "air foam" that you sometimes get out of a hose when first turn it on - - and for background: they are stored on hose reels - and yes we drain them and put them up every winter. Not sure if it's the hose breaking down or something else.

Kinky hose but with nice connectors.

We normally like the Member's Mark line of products and were happy to check out this 110 foot garden hose. It is of nice weight and has very nice connectors. However, it claims to be kink resistant. Not so much. And after the first year, the hose is terrible about kinking so we have to carefully lay out the hose. The hose should last 2 or 3 years even if you have it laying in the sunlight most of the day. Maybe that is why our hoses kink up more now than ever.

Has Leaked From Day One

The hose itself is good, but the fitting that screws on to the faucet on the house has leaked from day one. I have tried adding and replacing the washer in the hose fitting, and have tightened it as mush as possible, but it still leaks. This may be my big chance to test Sam's Warranty and customer service.

I'm not kinky, but this hose is.

I've been buying lightweight, inexpensive garden hoses and replacing each summer. I decided to try getting a heavier-duty hose. Saw this "professional grade" hose and thought I would try it. First line says "kink resistant hose". I have now been using it for three days, figuring I would get used to the heavy weight and get an extra workout dragging it 100 feet out into the yard. I got extra steps in as I had to return at least four times to unkink several places. I returned and read the reviews that I should've read in the first place. Clearly, "kink resistant" means something different than I expected. For an unwieldy, kinking hose, get this model. I'm returning it. System will not allow me to upload photo showing the kinks, but they are there even after I straighten the hose constantly.
