The new hose ends are not brass, and will quickly corrode onto any faucet or attachment that is made of brass. Simple chemical reaction causing electrolysis, so beware. I cut the ends off and replaced them with brass fittings, making the original hose less of a bargain.

I bought 3 of these 120ft hoses yellow stripes included 16 years ago. I finally had a crack by the male end. I kinked it by accident and it started dripping. I ran down to Sams club to buy more. But I missed them last year before they sold out. I just bought 4 more yesterday for 0nly $24.99 ea. I hope they last another 17 years. PS I repaired the end and I am still using all 3 hoses.

This is a good water hose and the only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because I purchased mainly because it advertises "kink-resistant" which is not true.. This hose is long and not unusual for it to have multiple kinks when I am using it. .I would recommend this product, just understand that it is NOT kink-resistant.

Very good

I purchased this hose because it claimed to be kink resistant. Not true! The hose is soft and kinks quite easily in multiple places whenever I fully extend it from a coiled position. Then I have to walk all the way back to each kinked section of the hose and manually remove the kinks just to get proper water flow. Very disappointed with this product.

After 6 months the aluminum connecters welded themselves to each other and to my faucets. Had to cut them off to disassemble. don't know why a manufacturer wouldn't know this would be a problem for the buyer. It should be called an unprofessional hose.

I purchased two of these a few years ago. It may have been four years. Not sure really. I didn't keep track because I had no reason to. They have worked exactly as I had expected. Only when I was looking into buying another hose for an experimental solar heating set up for our pool, did I see all the negative reviews. I keep both of my hoses here in NY drained in winter, but out in the elements year round and have had no issues. One is in an enclosed hose reel and the other is exposed. The exposed one get 3x the use of the covered hose and I have had no issues with either. No evidence of dry rotting or corrosion. Hopefully this next roll will be of the same quality. I did lose the male end due to a lawnmower mishap, but that's on me.

This hose kinks worse than any I've ever used, it was terribly frustrating. If you are looking to use it completely unreeled and all 125 ft layed out, it's a good hose for that. But if you occasionally need to use less than the 125 feet, purchase something else. Took it back after fighting with it for a month. Appreciate Sam's giving a refund.
