Hate Repkacing Sea Salt with Lightly Salted Nuts

If this is replacing Deluxe Mixed Nuts with Ses Salt I hate that decision. I can make my own decision about what I eat & whither I want it salted or not & don't need some nanny company making it for me. Maybe Planters will not make the same asinine decision.

All Almonds - Few cashews and other nuts

I've been buying these nuts for a couple of years. The price recently went up $2 but I understand that everything is increasing. The problem is that with the price increase also came a big difference in quality. There are very very few cashews, pecans, and pistachios now. I would not call this a nut mix, as it is mainly just almonds.

IMO does not justify the Deluxe branding

A good price for mixed nuts, but doesn't earn the name Deluxe. Yes, no peanuts. Mostly Almonds and Cashews. The nuts in the mix all have a similar soft texture. I think snacking enjoyment is diminished if there is no crunch. No distinct flavors too, they all taste the same. There is a different brand (and store) that I favor when it comes to Deluxe mixed nuts. Their mix contains Cashews, Almonds, Pecans, Brazil Nuts, and Hazelnuts. Brazil Nuts add a much better expereince.

Not Nearly As Good As They Use To Be

I use to love these "Deluxe" nuts. They have changed the mixture too much. They stopped having Brazil nuts and have now eliminated the Filbert nuts. The almonds have become the new peanuts. There are very few pistachio nuts and the pecans they are putting in the mix now are mostly broken pieces. These are far from "Deluxe" nuts these days.

Quality is down

I have purchased these Lightly Salted Deluxe Mixed Nuts regularly for two or three years. I liked the taste, texture and amount because nuts are part of my daily diet and a great snack for my family. But sometime in the last several months the quality has declined. Now it has hardly any pecans and they are fewer, smaller and broken; fewer cashews, which previously were the first ingredient; and fewer pistachios. There are lots more almonds, but even those are smaller and darker. I'm disappointed because these nuts are about 40% more expensive than when I first bought them. They are still on my shopping list, but I will look around for a better alternative.
