Potatoes had dirt, skin tough, skin bruised, bad spots. I had to go through one by one. Peel plus on some cut away bad spot. It is one big mess that seems like very old crop. I might throw out the other half of the bag.

I had these in a cool place for one week went to prepare and after the potatoes squirting rotten foul smell several times I tossed the bag. You couldn't tell until touching them. This was extremely GROSS!

I quartered these little potatoes, coated with olive oil, put in a foil pouch in the oven at 425!° 30 minutes, still almost raw. Tipped into a cassarole dish tightly covered with foil at 375° for another 30 mins, still not cooked! The oddest potatoes Ive evet come across.

When I shop for myself I do carefully check for freshness, even then one baddy may slip by. Imagine having to rely on a picker who does not have the time to be as careful as you. The store then must make time to inspect their stock. Someone has to be in charge of quality control. Being sold rotten merchandise is a possibility since many of our products are imported for one economic reason or the other. One thing to be said is that the rotten items are mostly evenly distributed. Yen and yang
