This is usually the bacon I buy. However, the last time I was in the store they had it on sale for two dollars off. When I got it home and cooked it, it seemed very different. It started out looking the same, but after it was cooked, the slices shrank to half the length of normal. It tasted very fatty, and not in a good way. Then I noticed it was a completely different item on my receipt. The title and description were exactly the same as before, but for some reason, it created a different item in the list, from what I normally purchase. This told me something had to be different. I'm not sure what's going on here, but I did not like this bacon. Now I have a whole other 2 pounds I have to eat. I'm going back to my old store to purchase bacon as I can't tell the difference in the two and I can no longer trust this to be good. Too bad.

I've been buying Wright bacon for years now and I have to say it's always cooked and tasted great; but with the price increase on everything thought I'd give Sam's bacon a try. I was pleasantly surprised to find it not only compared to; but may be a little better. I think I've found my new favorite bacon.

The bacon had great flavor, but it doesn't cook up well. i just cannot get it crisp, it just gets hard. i cook it the same way I've cooked thick-cut bacon for years.

Tried this since they didn't have the Wright bacon. Far more fat than it should have and than Wright thick cut. I do not recommend this bacon

This used to be our favorite but the last 2 purchases have been significantly different. It absolutely does not quilify as "thick cut" lately.

My family loved this bacon so much we are ordering ut for a 2nd time in a week. so tasty and cooks to perfection
