I had my doubts at first about whether or not I'd like these sheets because I tend to sleep cold as it is, so keep me cool type technology didn't sound as appealing to me as it did to my husband. After adding another blanket to the bed I can honestly say these sheets, combined with the Hybrid 3 mattress we're sleeping on is the most comfortable I've ever been!

Finally found a fitted sheet that doesn't wrinkle! They feel cool to sleep on and aren't "noisy" when you move around like many of the cooling sheets are. The only downside for me is the top sheet which is extraordinarily wide so it hangs down the sides of the bed much more than any other sheets. If it weren't that I have an oversized bedspread that is longer than most, the sheet would visibly hang out when the bed is made, which would drive me bonkers.

The SoftStretch sheets have an absolutely luxurious feel with ultimate breathability. While the first set of sheets were comfortable as well I Find the SoftStretch to be more durable, hold their shape better and are easier to clean which makes them absolutely worth the price. They also come in such a nice array of colors! If you liked the first set of sheets I would recommend giving these babies a try!

First off... I wanted to love these sheets. The ideas are great, but the execution is off. They are incredibly soft and comfortable. The fitted sheet is deep and that sucker stays on the bed. However, for $100+ per set, there are some huge flaws. The flat sheet isn't wide enough. You can stretch it to tuck it in, but it doesn't stay wide enough when actually laying in bed. The other, bigger issue is they are ultra thin and get holes super easily. It's disappointing that they don't even last 6 months without getting holes.

I like the stretch fitted sheet for the bed, especially as we have an adjustable base. The flat sheet is quite heavy and some people might like that, I find the stretch on the flat sheet a bit annoying as sometimes you want to pull the sheet around you or to a different position and all you achieve when doing so is a stretch which then springs back so you have to pull extra hard to actually move the sheet where you want it. The pillow cases annoy me though, this is the real problem. We have the original purple pillow (we have the harmony purple pillows too but don't like them as much so don't use them). The pillow cases aren't designed for their own purple original pillow which I find really irritating. The pillow case is so much bigger than the pillow in both length and width and so is quite flappy. In my photo you can see the original pillow on a full/queen size pillow case (the dark grey) and on a king pillow case (light grey). We used to have a full mattress and recently upgraded to a king, the king pillow cases are just ridiculously big, pretty much twice the size of the pillow so there's a lot of tucking in required. I really wish purple supported their own pillows with their pillow case designs and it's utterly crazy that they don't. They should also give you a choice of pillow case size when buying. Lastly the light grey sheets you see in the photo are 'oat' colour. I expected them to be a light cream/beige colour but they're very definitely grey. It's not a problem for us as that actually worked out better with our decor but if you're after a creamy/beige tone then Oat isn't the one.

I love that they added tags in the middle of each side of the top/bottom to make making the bed a little easier. These sheets are super soft and comfortable. My complaint with them is that I have not owned them for a year yet (purchased in June 2020) and they already have dark stains where our bodies lay on them. I do wash them every week and a half or so (never over 2 weeks) so I understand with time they will wear out. Maybe I will try a darker color this time even though my original dark gray purple sheets stained white when washed. For the price I just expected them to last a little longer than less than a year.

These sheets are the softest, and most luxurious feeling sheets I have ever had. I'm used to Italian linen sheets so I was not sure if I would like the change but these are amazing. I also have to compliment Purple on the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. Everyone has been kind and efficient in all my dealings.

Overall I like the sheets a great deal, unlike most marketing jargon I can say the sheets do for the most part actually live up to how they are advertised -- they are cooler than my "normal/standard" sheets, they do stretch a bit and they feel very comfortable. The only reason for my 4 star instead of 5 star rating and its hard to explain until you sleep with these sheets but whatever material they use for the "stretch" quality of the sheets, they tangle easy. If you are a sleeper that tosses a lot you'll probably get a least a little annoyed how you can wrapped up in the sheets more easily than standard ones. I've literally thought to myself in the middle of the night when I need a bathroom break "get off of me!" because they coil around my legs and such.

Upon receiving my sheets they were not the color that I ordered. They were and are however fantastic sheets. They fit the mattress snug but yet stretchy and extremely comfortable. These are nice sheets, seem to hold up well and stay soft, are not pilling. The pillowcase does not stay on the purple pillow! The pillow climbs out every night. The bottom sheet got a stain on it one night when I got into bed after a shower, I thought it was from water, but maybe it was from lotion....whatever it is, it is still discolored in one spot. I don't think they are worth the extra price, but they are nice sheets and soft and comfy and seem to hold up ok.
