The toothpaste taste with very light mints and makes my gums feel great and fresh breath. I typically use a sensitive toothpaste, or a toothpaste that is indicated for sensitive teeth. Though this one is not indicated for sensitive teeth, it does seem to do the job of handling the sensitivity. I do wish it had a fliptop cap instead of a screw on cap though.
