Unfortunately, it has a screw top that does not like to go on straight rather than an easy flip top. The paste is white - no added unnecessary colors. The flavor is a pleasant spearmint flavor that really works great at freshening my breath. The toothpaste is targeted to help with early signs of gum disease, so it doesn't provide whitening or anti-tarter properties. This is a great toothpaste if you're starting to see some gum issues or have difficulty with bad breath.

They aren’t bleeding as much and breath is slightly better in the mornings. Only negative I’ve noticed is there really isn’t much flavor to the toothpaste but its not a bad flavor- kind of flavorless.

The minty taste of this toothpaste is not overall strong so it’s perfect for brushing your teeth in the morning before food. This way you don’t have to wait for the minty feeling to dissipate before eating food. Some people, however, might consider this a negative because the mint flavor does not last long. For me, that is a big positive. The texture of this toothpaste is similar to icing in that it can be ever-so-slightly grainy. This doesn’t bother me at all though. Overall, I would recommend this toothpaste to anyone.

My dentist always also recommends parodontax for me, especially because of fluoride that every product from them has. My gums are not the best but this toothpaste helps. I also like the “grainy” texture of it. Makes it feel that it cleans “more”! The products are on the pricier side but it’s worth it!
