When I first got this i admit pink salt it's just going to make things taste salty but I was wrong so don't let the name fool you. The different ingredients give food a different flavor that I found very enjoyable. I loved this one chicken, I used skin on chicken put some under the skin and on top and oh that was some flavorful chicken! I wasn't sure about using on pasta and I didn't totally love it but it was enjoyable. Gives a little extra to veggies as well especially if the veggies are roasted. I was surprised by the flavor of this and found overall very enjoyable.

This is an excellent blend of spices/seasonings. It contains a blend of some of my most used seasonings (pink salt, garlic, onion, pepper, parsley) plus a hint of lemon peel and red bell pepper. The blend is very balanced. No one ingredient overpowers the others. I was worried about it being too salty or having a strange citrus flavor. But it was great. The salt level was perfect and the citrus was so well balanced that I didn't notice it. We used it on chicken, potatoes, and vegetables. We liked it on all the things we tried. I think it would be great on fish as well. I'm planning to use it in place of my regular seasoning in chicken soup. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I received my bottle of McCormick The Ultimate Pink Salt for free in exchange for writing this review but I promise you, if it wasn't stellar, I'd tell you. I’ve tried quite a few blends and seasoned salts over the years to use when I cook but this one stands out because of its well-balanced blend of Himalayan pink salt with garlic, onion, black pepper, lemon peel, red bell pepper, parsley, and a touch of garlic oil. It delivers a savory, slightly bright flavor that works beautifully on my everyday meals from burgers to baked potatoes and chicken. Even veggies shine with this extra layer of garlic-pepper dash. Instead of having a chemistry set of spices, I can use just this bottle. The main thing to be aware of is that this is still very much a salt-based product; the salt definitely comes through as the dominant note. It’s not an equal-parts blend of all the ingredients, so if you go heavy-handed, you can easily oversalt your dish. A light to moderate sprinkle is usually perfect. It’s a true “shake-on-anything” convenience item that saves me time. The large 11.62 oz size is also a great value for how often I use it. I would absolutely purchase again when I run out. Anyone who likes garlic and salt will love this special blend's flavor.
