Tailgater Tough is a fitting name for this Bluetooth speaker. It is sturdy and heavy duty. Heavier than I expected. Seems like it can handle everything you throw at it: rain, harsh outdoor weather, accidental drops, etc. Overall a really good speaker.

This speaker is awesome! it sounds great and it is built to take a beating. I have used it outside while working on the yard, my son has taken it to job sites, and my other son used it at a bonfire. They are young and hip and really loved it and now want one of their own. It is durably made and seems to hold up to all scenarios well.

I love this product so so much. Have always wanted to buy or try one of these portable speakers. I'm glad I got to choose this one. Works in all locations. Onboard device charging and it even had a surprise. FM radio too. Which is nice. Not always want to rely on looking at my phone or select music. Sometimes you need your phone and you just want to let it play. Also morning talk shows are good when working in the garage.

The ION Audio Tailgater Tough speaker definitely lives up to its name, it is very sturdy and tough and great to use at tailgating parties or other get togethers indoors or outdoors. It has great sound quality and the battery lasts a long time before needing to be recharged. It is a little on the heavy side but worth the buy.

I was immediately impressed with this speaker the second I took it out of the box, the texture and rubber grips make this speaker feel and look premium. Connecting to Bluetooth was quick and simple and the sound quality is on point even at max volume. Max volume isnt insane but definitely loud enough you don't want to be right next to it when it's all the way up. Now for the durability, I wanted to see if it would hold up to a big fall so I chucked it about 20ft in the air and let it hit the hard ground. The results: the case cracked (no longer water proof), the logo fell off, and the speaker still sounds amazing. It definitely exceeded my expectations on durability, but don't expect it to remain waterproof after a big drop. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good work/camping/off-roading speaker.

I love the new ION tailgater bluetooth speaker! The packaging was really secure minimizing the chances of shipping damage. It charged up pretty quickly as it arrived already about 75% charged. It was very easy to connect with my phone and I had music playing within minutes. The sound quality is great and it has very powerful volume to be such a compact speaker. I'm looking forward to having this at the river this summer! One feature I have not tried is the app. It is not necessary to use the speaker, but offers additional features. I will download the app and try it at some point.

This Bluetooth speaker is so easy to set up! The sound is amazing. Clear instructions, took literally 2 minutes after I fully charged it. It does not come with adapter to charge but comes with a cord that plugs into one I'm sure you have laying around. Sound is very good, can be quiet or loud and still very clear.

Vocals and midrange are clear and crisp, and the Bluetooth 5.3 connection stays stable even at a good distance from my phone. Battery life is another plus: the built-in rechargeable battery runs about 10 hours per charge, which easily gets me through a day of music without worrying about recharging. The unit also doubles as a handy USB power bank to charge phones or accessories on the go. There's FM radio built in with app-synced presets, and I even used a mic input for some karaoke fun. No product is perfect — audio will downmix to mono unless you pair two units, and at very high volume you can hear some compression or distortion. I received this speaker very fast after it was ordered and I am so far extremely satisfied with this Tailgater Tough Speaker. I wanted this speaker for summertime family trips. We have one planned for a week-long vacation to the beach, and I can tell you right now this speaker will be plenty loud enough to hear over the waves coming in. I am very excited to try this out on the beach, but so far it has been an excellent addition around the house especially while working on my cars in the garage. I would highly recommend this speaker!!! 10 out of 10!

The first thing I noticed was how rugged and solid it looked. Its a mixture of metal, hard, dense plastic and high quality rubber. Its not too heavy, easy to move around. I liked the build quality. I used it a lot before posting review and what I can honestly say is: not for an audiophile. The sound for a lot of audiobooks were muddled. Music was okay, but when listening to audiobooks, not being able to hear words clearly was triggering. It has the ability to connect a microphone and do announcements etc I never used as I dont own any. The connection for Bluetooth was very good and reliable on top of being easy and automatic. The convenience of carrying around the small lightweight speaker obviously came with some drawbacks on speaker clarity, but if you only want for music then it would definitely be better than it is for audiobooks or podcasts. It has plenty of volume, it can get very loud if you crank up volume. If you dont mind maybe needing to return it, then I would say give it a test to see if it works for your needs.
