the mattress is great. It doesn't leave any pressure points. I dont wake up with sore hips in the morning. I describe this mattress as a luxury firm bed. Its not the type that you lay on and sink into fluffiness. If you're looking for that, look at a different bed.

I will be happy to adjust this review if the noise issue with our mattress protector is resolved. I have never had a bed make this much noise. It consistently wakes up my wife and I. Worst part is you have to use the cover to get the warranty. For such an advanced bed, the mattress protector is a huge let down. We have had the bed for a month and washing the protector multiple times has not reduced the noise it creates when you move or roll over.

I was so excited after watching the videos that the Purple was going to be the solution to all my sleeping problems. My wife has herniated discs in her back and has had surgery, both of us have a lot of stiffness and pain around the hip section. We had purchased one of the other different fancy foam hybrid mattress, and it severely exacerbated our pain - pain caused by spasms in the quadratus lumborum. Due to a relocation, we spent a few months back on a spring mattress, where the QL pain subsided, so we knew that other foam hybrid was causing the pain, so when we finally moved into our new home, we ordered a Purple. First - the mattress is _very_ comfortable. It lives up to its marketing. It is cool to sleep on - so cold, my wife was cold on the first night in the summer. The laying position is firm, but comfortable. Love that. Laying on the mattress just feels _good_. Over the course of the first month, we started having muscular trouble again in the QL. Pain in the lower back, unable to turn over in the night, and the "slipping" feeling caused by a QL spasm. We are going to keep trying it for the next month or so, but if it doesn't work for us, we may have to go back to a blasted spring mattress, which aren't as comfortable, but have a better livability result. I'll say that one thing I'm not on the fence with is the platform. I hate it. It creeks and squeaks every time I turn over. And that, unlike the mattress, we are stuck with.

It seems my body is getting accustom to my new Purple. I don't have as much pain as I did with my old mattress. however I still have time in my 100 night tryout time. Hopefully I won't need to buy another mattress and return this one. We will see.......

It has a different feel from any mattress I have ever slept on. I've had it about a month now, and I sleep harder now than previously on my old mattress (some kind of hybrid and not sure the brand). This mattress also sleeps cooler. If you're a hot sleeper I highly recommend it.

I got the original Purple mattress with the mattress protector and sheets. They have been great and I especially love the stretchy sheets. So comfy! I am a hot sleeper and I now sleep much cooler compared to my prior memory foam mattress. Hips and shoulders no longer hurt when I wake up.

Shipping and customer service was a little sketch, got some bum information from their chat service (which took forever and kicked back to the back of the line repeatedly). That said, I don't believe in down grading a product that is awesome (with a great development team) because customer service is trash. Just know they are going to suck, but the bed itself is fantastic. We have been debating getting a purple for years and I finally caved and it is totally worth it. While my body hasn't quite adapted to having a cooler mattress, as in I'm acutely aware that it is there, my sleep isn't poorly affected by the new type of mattress. Both my husband and I have slept better, woken up with less creaks, and find that we sleep more soundly. I'll review in the other product, but the mattress cover is loud...so if you need quiet, maybe find a different one...or double sheet.

I love love love this mattress. Before getting my Purple, I had a mattress that was over 20 years old. Needless to say, I was very happy to get a new one! It did take me a few nights to adjust to the amazing support of Purple, but now I can't wait to get in bed every night. I'll never buy a different brand again.

Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. We needed a new bed, but with the pandemic, we didn't want to go out and test a ton of mattresses. So I read reviews and settled in Purple. We had our mattress within 5 days, and it was really easy to get into our room because of the packaging. It's very comfortable, and so far, we love it. The only downside is that mattress is a little thinner than I expected. Comfort-wise it's fine, but we can feel each other moving around quite a bit.

For the first time in about 20 years I'm getting eight hours sleep a night. And I'm talkin about deep sleep. Moreover, I wake up pain free. My old mattress was a very expensive, high-quality common name brand firm. I woke up in lower back pain and sciatic pain down my leg every day. I thought it was my body but started suspecting that it was the mattress. After I read a review of purple, I purchased a king-size. It's the best decision I've ever made. I highly recommend pPrple mattress, the mattress pad, and the sheets.
