This is hands down the best bed I have ever purchased and I'm a very active nurse and sleep is essential. I will never own anything but a Purple. All my family has tried it and loved it. Will be filling the bedrooms in my house with them. Don't even think twice about this bed, purchase immediately. Shipping was super fast, sheets are great, delivery was great! Very very happy with everything!

Their web site says: "Recycling Purple. The Purple® Bed and its packaging is recyclable!. If we're unable to find a charity in your area, we'll work to find someone to pick it up from you to recycle it or make sure it finds a good home." Not true. We bought a Purple mattress for our daughter in Maine. The mattress itself is great. I'd give it five stars. But it comes wrapped in A LOT of plastic. My daughter contacted Purple for recycling instructions per the web site (quoted above), was told to contact their shippers and the shippers said "no we don't recycle their packaging." So I'd give one star for lack of commitment to sustainable packaging and the most negative review possible for not telling the truth about the recyclability of their products. Purple, you don't deserve to claim environmental cred and then not deliver on it. Please tell the full truth about whether your packaging is recyclable. Hopefully you'll find a way to keep your packaging out of landfills and ultimately the ocean.

We've been sleeping on purple for 3 nights. We still have the same pains we had with our other mattress. We were hoping for a miracle. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I'll give it a couple of weeks, but as if today, it's being returned.

Best bed. Bought for my mom she has been using a hospital bed and it was hard a rock. I replaced the mattress in her hospital bed and she is super comfy and can be adjusted to get in and out bed to her beside commode and in and out of wheel chair as needed as she is rebuilding strength after congestive heart failure. The only regret I have is I didn't buy it sooner. I got the mattress in 10 days from Georgia to California however, could take longer now due to shipping delays. My sheets were mailed separately and they said delivered but never came. Fastword next my neighbor six doors down called and said she had the package.. So called up customer service and said not to deliver the replacement that I asked for it was a mistake and they said nooo our mistake and you get an extra set of sheets for the mix up!!! I also bought the purple royal cushion first, fits perfect in a wheel chair. You'll only regret it if you never try it. Sincerely, Mom's in home caregiver.

I just finished my last payment on my queen purple that I bought a year ago to turn around and buy another mattress elsewhere. My husband and I wake up each morning aching and tired. We are both in the medical field and bought a purple because it was highly recommended by a family member. It was comfortable for 4 months and after that it literally turned into a nightmare to sleep on...the other sad part was that 100 days had passed...so we were stuck with it.. Well, here we are 1 year later and we are trashing it. We are so disappointed. Don't waste your money.

I specifically asked for a really firm mattress, but this is one of the softest, squishiest I've ever slept on! A great disappointment. I doubt it will last more than a few months. Poor mattress,no installation.

Absolutly amazing. I have back and shoulder issues from my time in the military. My girl friend and I got a purple mattress as she needed a new one. It was amazing from the first night. I would wake up with oit an alarm and be ready for the day. I had to make sure I had a pulse a few times because waking up without any pain was a foreign concept to me. I was amzed that I didnt hurt in the mornings and instead of feeling like I had been hit by a truck in the mornings I felt refreshed and rested. Further more she suffers from Eckler's danlos syndrome. Its a miserable disorder the causes chronic pain yet she woke up with no to minimal pain everyday. This mattress provided Superior comfort and is cost-effective. Honestly I feel that it cost way less then it's worth. You will get more than your money's worth with this mattress.

The mattress is suppose to cradle your pressure points. Right? Then why does mine not even begin to even form to me when I am even sitting on it? I weigh about 245 lbs and I feel as though I'm laying on a squishier version of particle board. I will keep it since that is the only mattress I have. I may just need time to get use to it. just as FYI.

We really are delighted with the mattress. Very comfortable, stays cool and my wife note longer wakes up with a sore back. She loves the mattress and so do I. Btw, we love the sheets. I'm going to order another set but first I'm waiting to see how they hold up after a few washes.

I'm only 2 wks into the trial period and have physical damage so this review won't help healthy spines. Downsized from a king Seally to full OG Purple. I weigh 130 #s and I have an adjustable bed frame.The mattress helps relieve pressure in my shoulder but it offers no support for my spine and sacrum. I'm not sure I will keep it. My previous seally mattress did not have me wake up in pain every day like the purple does.
