My husband and I decided to try Purple at the recommendation of a friend after his purchase. Having been in a bad car wreck in 2002, nights were always restless because I could never sleep comfortably no matter what position I slept in. I always woke up with a stiff/sore back and neck and felt like I hadn't slept much. Two years ago we bought a Purple and I was a bit skeptical but excited all the same. The first 3 nights were a bit odd adjusting to the feel of the bed because I literally couldn't feel the bed under my body. It was like sleeping suspended in air!! But I quickly noticed I was sleeping hard and sound all night and waking up with zero pain which hadn't been the case in 15 years. We loved the bed so much that we recommended it to others who also instantly fell in love with Purple and continued to spread the word. My daughter - a hockey goalie, was tossing and turning in her sleep complaining how hot the mattress was and was waking up with headaches so I decided to order her the same bed we purchased 2 years ago (original Purple) believing if it helped my husband and I sleep better, that it would do the same for her. As an athlete, she needed a bed that adjusted to her petite yet muscular frame and temperature as she always runs warm. She immediately loved the bed and said it sleeps cooler and I noticed she wasn't tossing and turning when I'd check in on her throughout the night. I posted this purchase on Facebook and how much I recommend parents of athletes to buy this bed for their kids because it's a game changer for them. So much so that I thought about going into sales for this product because it is by far the best bed design and invention I've ever encountered. I plan to buy my oldest daughter and her husband one for their new home purchase, especially since the announcement that she's pregnant. There is no better bed for her to sleep on in my opinion. I could go on and on about this bed but in a nut shell, IT IS THE BEST PURCHASE AND DECISION we've ever made!! You will love it. Thank you Purple for designing a mattress that doesn't keep me up all night. I've never slept so good in my entire life.

As a former USA record holder in Women's Olympic Weightlifting now aged 50+, I used to rise each morning with aches and pains earned from my glory days. That morning experience slowly worsened over time despite buying the best memory foam and air-numbered mattress systems available. Then, 2-weeks ago, I received my Purple mattress. I slept well through the first night and awoke the next morning without the routine aches and stiffness. Nights went by and more happy awakenings followed. Now into my second week I am pleased to share this early experience. While I wasn't happy waiting 6-weeks to receive my Purple mattress, I can write with equal honesty that it proved well worth the wait. Thank-you, Purple, thank-you.

I have lower back issues and a mattress that provides the support needed to reduce the aches and pains is something that I could not live without. This mattress provides the support needed. Doesn't completely take away the aches but definitely reduces.

We love this mattress! It did take a day or two to get used to, but not in a bad way though. My wife and I both have back problems and during the getting used to period our backs were fine. Now, we both love this mattress. Unfortunately the delivery was delayed every day for a week, causing us to stay home all that time waiting for the delivery. I have to say Purple's customer service was great during this time, but the delivery was in Fed Ex's hands. It's a shame such a great company is at the mercy of our leader's bad policies. I can understand how some customers would blame Purple, but really it's not their fault. Just be patient and know you're getting a great product!

I have back issues & they can wreck havoc with my sleep. My new Purple bed has really helped me get a better night's sleep. Just the right amount of squish without skimping on support. & the material isn't hot & sticky. No more waking up all sweaty & in pain!

This is a great mattress. We bought because my wife was uncomfortable on ours. We are both relatively light, and feel it provides the support we need, and still provides good support. We have tried mattresses that we have liked better, but they have all cost significantly more than this. 'm sure there are other mattresses that might work as good as this one does in this price range. 've seen several other brands with similar business models online, but they all seem to use the same old technology. The gel in this mattress is very soft making it very comfortable, but still will support. If I had more money, 'd get a different mattress that I have slept on and loved. This one is almost as good, but thousands less.

After hauling this heavy thing up two flights of stairs, my back was killing me. I unpacked the mattress, laid down, and within 5 min, my back was feeling great! I have had the Purple mattress now for more than 2 weeks, and I've had wonderful sleep and zero back pain. I need a firm mattress for my lower back, but as I've gotten older, a traditional firm mattress hurts my shoulders and hips. The Purple supports my back while it forgives my pointy bits. I love it! Can't recommend it enough!

I have chronic joint pain issues and up until my Purple Bed I have had to get up in the morning due to the amount of pain and pressure other beds gave me. No More! With my Purple bed I don't want to get up and I am not in near the amount of pain at night as before. Will never go back to any other type of Mattress. It's PURPLE for me!!

My back still hurts a lot during my sleep, I have herniated disks, thought the mattress was going to help but not at all. It's been almost a month since we bought it so we're gonna give it more time. I do think it's better to have a no metal springs mattress.

Our mattress is amazing!!! After getting it on to the frame we sat down on it & before either of us knew what happened, we were asleep for a 5 hour nap! The only downside was that the package arrived damaged so we had to call an audible for setting it up.
