The hype for this bed is huge. I mean I researched it for months before taking the plunge because it is a large investment and I was not sure it would meet my expectations. Now this isn't a cure all end all bed but it is definitely very nice. It is super comfy, helps you sleep and I do feel incredibly rested everyday. THE SHEETS ARE MY FAVORITE THING!!!!! THEY HELP YOU STAY THE PERFECT TEMPERATURE! My boyfriend is a heater at night and they help me to not be over heating. And the bed itself is quiet, doesn't move when the other people move and just feels right. I love the bed and I have recommended it to my friends and family because it helps you feel great.

We're both very happy with our King sized mattress. While the actual product did not ship quickly, it was well worth the wait. After the mattress cover arrived damaged by the shipping, they sent us a new one free of charge immediately. I strongly recommend purchasing the Jersey sheets, like they suggest. We slept on regular sheets that we had and it was a bit hard. When we got our jersey sheets, it was a different, softer feel. Enjoy!

Been about a month since I started sleeping on this bed. I would say this is the most comfortable bed I've sleep on. I'm a big guy 6-3, 315lbs and I fit well on my twin bed.. Going to order the head board and pillow next. I would recommend this bed to other big guys. Also, it is an easy bed to assemble and would be easy to move from house to house if you are the moving type of oerson

I have had issues with my shoulder for almost 20 years now, and it only made it worse when I slept on my side, which I love to do. I have been sleeping on this mattress for almost a month now and it's the best mattress I have ever slept on! I have a bad back and since I've been sleeping on this mattress I have not once woken up with a backache! They sent a "purple" sample with the bed and I carry it with me and show everyone! The only con is with the delivery of the mattress. They use FedEx ground (third party contractors and not actual FedEx employees) and they delivered it to the wrong address. I had to go and pick it up at the house they incorrectly left it because they are so incompetent. However, the Purple customer service people are great! Hi everyone. I was looking for a big upgrade in my sleep for awhile. I did piles of research, visited mattress stores. I came to this as my brother had recommended it after being a purple owner for over a year. This thing is beast mode for sleep. I find myself easily getting my 8 hours or more. This original Purple mattress was not designed for those who weigh in excess of 220 lbs. I pretty much bottom out on the bed platform when sitting or reading a book. Not good. I do have to admit that I like the feel of the top layer, but the mattress will not work with my 260 lbs of body weight. I am not dismayed though. I am going to go through the return process for this mattress and obtain the updated Purple 3 mattress. I think I need the extra coils that are embedded in that mattress to provide me with the support I need. Wish the reviews or even the documentation online could of provided me with the pros and cons of the oriniginal vs the updated mattresses for body builds and or weight.

It's a pretty comfortable mattress. Personally, I prefer the temperpedic that I had before, because it seemed more supportive and I don't like that the Purple mattress transfers motion. However, the cooling nature of the Purple is amazing and that's one of my husbands biggest complaints at night. I think I am just very picky and the best is definitely comfortable. If you have skin that reddens easily with touch, you will likely wake up with your entire back covered in a waffle pattern (my husband does every morning) but it's kind of hilarious and obviously not harmful. I personally wouldn't buy this mattress again but I think it's fine depending on they type of sleeper you are.
