I love the bed - but the service has been really bad. This may be a unique situation, but I have been trying to return a bed for over a week at this point. After about the second day of my bed sitting outside my apartment, I did not hear back from customer service. I have been following up every day since then. It has been 7 days total and the bed has still not been returned. I love the product - but I am very frustrated with how this has been handled.

if you're looking for a good firm mattress this is the one you want! Unfortunately for myself I was looking for more give and take and much less of a firm mattress than this product offers. when you think of a memory foam or like product you think you would have more soft and yielding mattress not so with this product! Also I need to add that the quality is out of this world.

The purple mattress was incredibly easy to set up. It has a mild scent when you first unpack it, but that dissipates after a day or two. The mattress is soft yet supportive for stomach sleepers - your hips don't sink in and throw your back out of alignment, but it's not so firm that it has no give. It's not necessarily cool to the touch, but it doesn't trap or retain heat throughout the night. Overall very pleased with the mattress.

My old mattress would make me wake up in the middle of the night with intense back pain. I finally got fed up with the nightly pain so I decided to look for a new mattress... I decided to give purple a try. I can honestly say that I have zero back pain now and sleep through the night!

I was quite hesitant to get this bed. Not just in the price, but the more I read, the more I wasn't sure if it was for me. My spouse decided it was, guessing tired of me complaining and tossing and turning all through the night. With the trial, there was no risk. And in the end... what a great investment! Immediately, I found myself way more comfortable in the bed and after a couple months now, that hasn't changed. I find myself in the same position through the night and wake way less sore than before. For me, a 49-year old, 6'0, 175#, medium build male with some neck and lower back issues, I have struggled for years with getting decent sleep. This mattress has clearly helped change that!

I absolutely love my mattress, most everyone I talked to said it would take a week or more to get use to it...... not me I have slept so good from the very first night..a couple times I almost overslept for work. I have been telling everyone I know about the mattress because I am a VERY SATISFIED customer..... waiting on the pillows. Thanks so much Thank you Purple Mattress !!!!!

Shipping and customer service was a little sketch, got some bum information from their chat service (which took forever and kicked back to the back of the line repeatedly). That said, I don't believe in down grading a product that is awesome (with a great development team) because customer service is trash. Just know they are going to suck, but the bed itself is fantastic. We have been debating getting a purple for years and I finally caved and it is totally worth it. While my body hasn't quite adapted to having a cooler mattress, as in I'm acutely aware that it is there, my sleep isn't poorly affected by the new type of mattress. Both my husband and I have slept better, woken up with less creaks, and find that we sleep more soundly. I'll review in the other product, but the mattress cover is loud...so if you need quiet, maybe find a different one...or double sheet.

Uncomfortable. I have all sorts of back pain after the switch. It's been 5 months and nothing is getting better. Normally I wouldn't mind spending so much money on a quality product but in this case it wasn't worth it. I basically paid for back problems and can't get a refund. I wouldn't recommend the king size purple 3.

Having a great start that I'm not sure will last. The mattress seems to be getting indented in the middle. (Maybe my weight? Maybe the mattress didn't fully expand?). Not sure but the 100 days are truly needed to test the mattress. Another month & I'll be able to tell better

We've had the Purple Hybrid 4 for a year now and I'm still in love. All other mattresses feel like concrete now. I seriously have separation anxiety over my mattress when I have to travel. Soft yet supportive. Good bounce. Sleeps cool. Be sure to use stretchy fabrics to feel the full benefit. I have the Purple mattress protector - the only stretchy mattress protector I could find. And I use jersey sheets. Also, the Harmony pillow is the best pillow ever made. I don't even care how much all this costs. Best sleep ever is worth it.
