The first time I sat on the bed I was like "oh no" because it was so DIFFERENT. You can feel the soft, squishy grid. You feel yourself sinking and you're like "well, crap. this is going to suck." BUT THEN you lay down and magically the sinking stops. And you're like, "What is this weird mattress thing?!?!?! Why does it work??" Basically I haven't had a bad night's sleep since we've gotten it. My boyfriend has a broken femur that's been healing. We bought purple because he wasn't able to sleep through the night on our old mattress. His hip would lock up and it wasn't awesome. He was getting up 2-3 times a night. Now? He sleeps until 10am! Hotel beds suck in comparison. Seriously. We both, independently, missed our mattress when we went on vacation. What else... * The mattress is super heavy. Putting sheets on it is a bit of a pain because you have to lift the corners. * Putting pressure on one spot doesn't make the entire bed sink. Example: I can jump into bed like a flying squirrel and the mattress doesn't move/boyfriend doesn't roll into me. * Paying for it didn't suck because I don't mind financing it. * I may have bought this mattress on my phone in the backseat of a car without telling my bf. I explained that their return policy is "they'll pick it up after 100 days and take it to a shelter" and that seemed to make it all better. (obv not returning this mattress tho) That's all I got. When I sleep, I like to roll from end to end of the mattress and drive my wife absolutely nuts. We ordered a California King mattress to give me a little more real estate for my operative of restless turbulation. My wife opted for the purple mattress. In doing so, she was able to keep a little bit of her sanity by reducing the shakes and bumps she would normally feel while I'm in action. The mattress is like sleeping on Cosby favorite. I've never had a more relaxing but fun mattress. We love our purple. My wife loves the smooth flying. I love actually falling asleep. 12/10.

At first, I thought I hadn't let my mattress inflate from unboxing for long enough. After two month, I am convinced that it is the mattress after sleeping on the floor instead. This mattress is worse than my old spring mattress that I've been using since childhood! My brother ordered the same mattress, but his is softer than mine. Flawed, inconsistent product. I hate sleeping on this rock!

This bed runs cold as ice, you NEED THE STRETCH SHEETS, they make it much better and warmer. Initially we tried regular oversize sheets, they suck, dont do it. Back and stomac sleepers will love this. Side sleepers not so much. Im a combo , but mostly side sleeper, the lack of side position compression and how cold it was, killed it for me.

we love our mattress, but we still have not received our queen size sheets and mattress protector that we ordered at the same time. We did receive a xl twin mattress protector that your web site defaulted to when we were ordering that we thought was odd, but now has to be corrected. Please correct Thanks Gene

I returned the purple mattress. My experience with purple was great! I weigh about 215lbs, my wife weighs about 130. The mattress was great for me, but she never sank into the bed and basically just hovered on the top of the mattress. We also noticed that even before the hundred days, there was a noticeable difference on my side of the bed than on hers. I will say all that to say this, Purple had some of the best customer service I have ever experienced, they were very prompt to respond to all of my emails, and returning it and the processing of my refund was very easy. I would recommend the mattress as well as the company, even though we did not keep the mattress, I was very happy with my experience.

I have tried many mattresses and was initially skeptical of Purple. I decided to try the mattress due to the ease of returns and positive reviews. I figured, if I didn't like it I could send back with no questions asked. I tried a competitors mattress and knew immediately it was a poor choice, thus had to return. We received our Purple mattress within 3-4 days, unrolled, and was able to sleep on it the same night with no problem. The mattress did not have an odor and was easy to unroll. I tend to prefer a mattress that isn't so firm that it hurts my shoulders and hips, but not so soft that it hurts my lower back. This mattress provides the perfect balance. I wake feeling rested and my body does not hurt! I don't have to shift positions to get comfortable and I do not feel my wife move at all (I am 5'10" 165lbs and she is 5' 125lbs). My wife can sleep on just about anything. I can't say enough about this mattress. It is far superior with its technology and offers the opportunity to try without risk. I will not be looking for another mattress fr quite some time, which is relieving. When we are in need of another mattress, we will definitely be purchasing another Purple product, possibly the Purple Two!!

I have scoliosis and have a difficult time getting comfortable, after reading the reviews I decided to give the purple mattress a try. Right out of the box it was incredibly comfortable and after sleeping on it I knew I had to buy one for my daughter who also has scoliosis!

Love the Purple bed. I have never slept better on a mattress from the first night. I previously had the sleep number bed. This is by far as better mattress than the sleep number especially with regards to the cost. The only complaint was that it took 6 weeks to get not the published 3-4 weeks. This company is going through growing pains. This is a great problem when your product is a smashing success. All in all a good experience.

Ordered a queen but got a full! We love the matress! They were quick to get the right size out to us. We also got the frame and love that too. Only thing we didn't like was they would not let us purchase the full matress accidentally sent to us at a reduced rate rather they had 100 got junk pick it up. Which was horrible because they tried to charge us for it. We still love our purple and will upgrade to a king once we get a bigger place and hope they get it right the first time.
