Our initial reaction to Purple was wondering why their shipper dumped the mattress in our driveway. We came home on a rainy night and almost ran over the large tube! Next, we found that even with two of us trying to lift the king sized mattress, it was too heavy. Had to go borrow a moving cart. Set-up was easy but getting the plastic of the mattress was a bit of a challenge. Finally, the mattress seems comfortable but I have been waking up with a sore back. Apparently, I am one of the few people who does better on a hard surface. There is a warranty, but honestly, we cannot imagine how we would package and ship this monster back.

After years of struggling with back pain following an accident and seeing no relief from medical treatments, procedures, and sleep studies I was still left in pain and sleepless. We have been sleeping on our new mattress for 50 days and it has been the best investment I have ever made, not only am I able to actually get real sleep and have the full support for my back without the added pain causing pressure points but my relationship with my wife has improved significantly. More sleep and less pain means I am easier to live with (plus the responsiveness of the Purple mattress is great for bedroom intimate activities) which my wife appreciates. Overall, we love our new Purple mattress and plan on upgrading the mattresses in our other bedrooms in the house to Purple in the future (Just wish the made a full size). We also can't wait to try the Purple pillows whenever they hit the market.

I purchased a king size purple knowing what an awesome product the purple mattress is! My girlfriend owned a queen size original mattress and we were not disappointed with the size upgrade ! We also recognized the added foam support around the perimeter and found it to be a welcome benefit to the overall edge configuration. I'm about 1.5 months into sleeping on this mattress full time and my back has never felt better and my sleep never more restful! I tell anyone who'll hear about my purple :)

I ordered the original purple mattress towards the end of March. I received my sheets & mattress within 2wks. At first I absolutely loved it but within a couple wks it had greatly aggravated my sciatica. I'm writing this review because eventho I had to return the mattress im still giving them 5stars... Their customer service is on point! They helped me every step of the way all I had to do was fill out the forms and within a few days they had it picked up and my full refund issued to me. I would definitely recommend them and would buy a different mattress from them. Maybe a hybrid model next time.

First off, the mattress feels great. All pressure points are gone, neck pain is reduced, and my wife sleeps through the night even though I still roll around. You NEED to have someone carry it with you. It is very dense and heavy, but not impossible to move. It opens very easily if you follow the instructions, just make sure you have it in the location you want - it's pretty hard to move later. It really is ready to go within minutes of unwrapping. Even with it on the floor, we could tell the difference. The Purple gel cushions you and eliminates pressure points. I have even stopped using a pillow because there is so much support. The foam could even be a little thinner, but there is a lot more room to absorb and shock. I don't necessarily sleep better yet, but I sleep deeper. My wife would wake up when I would roll over but now she sleeps through. Some have complained that "the gel doesn't go all the way to the edge," but a square mattress would be weird, so it really is fine. Maybe the foam could be a tiny bit softer, but it is good how it is. I can't imagine that the 10 year warranty will be an issue, but customer service was quick and courteous, so I would not expect that to be any difference. Great mattress, but you can't move it by yourself. Feels like quality!

I was a bit skeptical especially when reading that it could take a few days to weeks to get used to the mattress. I fell in love the 1st night! I suffer from mild spinal bifida and whenever I get to doing too much fins it very head to sleep. I completely rearranged a room before laying down for the night and slept the beat I have in years. Definitely a keeper!

We had a great experience trying the Purple mattress. My brother and sister-in-law have one, and raved about it, so it was my first choice when we needed a new mattress. Unfortunately, the mattress didn't work with my bad back. It was very comfortable, but I needed something firmer. Delivery was faster than the tracker stated, so we were thrilled to get the mattresses early. We had a bit of trouble cutting the purple wrapper open with the device they sent, but were able to open it with scissors. I will warn you that these mattresses are HEAVY!! We ordered two twins to go with a king adjustable frame. It took two of us to lift it, and that was a struggle when it was expanded. I can't imagine having to open and move a larger mattress or someone trying to do this all by themselves. I do wish they offered a delivery service. We tried the mattress for over a month, hoping it would "break in" and work for my back. Unfortunately that didn't happen. It was probably about 50 days from purchase when I e-mailed to inquire about returning the mattress. NO QUESTIONS ASKED! They offered to let me find a company to donate it to. I was really surprised that no companies took donated mattresses around here. Therefore, they sent a company to take it for recycling. I had the money back in my account the same day. I highly encourage anyone to give this company a try! You really can't go wrong with this easy return policy and great customer service!

Since purchasing my purple mattress my back has never felt so good. I used to have sciatic nerve pain and after sleeping in the purple for a while it's gone. My brother recently slept on it when I was out of town and said it was probably one of the best night sleeps he's had in a while, it was that or because his wife wasn't hogging the covers

I'm a HUGE skeptic when it comes to high-claims from expensive stuff online that you can't even try before you buy. i never thought i would ever buy a mattress that i wouldn't sleep on prior, but my fiancee and i were in need for a new bed, and after doing the research, it seemed that Purple was the way to do. we ordered the mattress and within a week, it arrived to our door! the first night was a little weird for us since we had never slept on anything like this before, but by the third night, i was 100% sold! i can't remember the last time i EVER slept so soundly, and i will say right now as a huge skeptic that this IS worth the purchase. if you're not sleeping on this mattress, you're NOT getting the best sleep of your life, period!

ive had the same mattress since I was 13, I needed a new mattress and I did my research and I decided on purple. It was delivered rather quickly and I was so exited. The first couple of nights I couldn't sleep a wink (I think out of pure excitement, anticipation and, change) but once I got used to the change, I don't think I've ever been this comfortable in my life. Every day I'm sitting at my desk at work counting down the hours until I can go home and lay in my bed. I fully recommend this bed to everyone that will listen to me.
