I'm a very hot sleeper, and I have had problems with my lower back and knees. In a regular mattress I would wake up most nights with night sweats and joint pain. My Temperpedic did okay to handle my joints, but I still suffered from night sweats, and I had the mattress model with the cooling top. After researching Purple extensively, I gave it a try. True to their word, my Purple mattress disipates the heat my body gives off all night long. I have never had a single night sweat since I switched. What's more, my Purple mattress is more comfortable and offers even better support than my Temperpedic. It was also a third of the price and one size larger. So happy with new mattress! Took about a week to get used to, but that's typical with any new mattress. I love that's it's cool and doesn't move when dog jumps on bed or when husband comes to bed after I'm asleep. It did take a month for mattress and almost two for frame, but it was worth the wait!!!

This mattress is the only one I've ever had that has truly given me balance and no pressure when laying on my side. I had a sleep number before the Purple mattress and can honestly say that I'm never going back. No "sides" of the bed and worrying about too much pressure, sleeping too close to your spouse, or getting too close to the edge. Equal support all the way around regardless of how and where you sleep.

This mattress has literally helped me tremendously... it's cool to the touch but I still feel like I get hot. It may be my sheets (who knows). You don't sink in but you do have relief where your pressure points are. My back feels so much better and I will say it has ALOT to do with this mattress. I highly recommend this to anyone who just wants a quality mattress. HONESTLY SPEAKING though- you could find something just as comfortable for cheaper.

I recently bought a house and moved in with my long time girlfriend. My girlfriend loved her bed from her place and insisted on bringing it to the house. I had never really stayed there despite how long we have been together so I didn't know what I was getting into. Needless to say it was awful! Her bed was a literal bag of rats. Rats don't provide any support at all. my body just kind of slumped into itself and I would wake up with terrible back pain everyday. My girlfriend was actually the one who recommended we get a Purple and all the back pain went away over night. Again, literally. After night one I woke up slightly stiff and after night two I was in great shape. I also feel so rested. We also upgraded from a full bed to a king so big plus there. Finally, my girlfriends own testimony is a concern that the bed is such a good nights sleep that she might not be able to wake up and has a legitimate concern of waking up.

I purchased the Purple Plus and the adjustable base just a couple of months ago. I previously had a memory foam mattress. I just thought that poor sleep was just a by-product of being middle aged. Since sleeping on my Purple Plus, I fall asleep naturally, stay asleep longer, sleep cool (can't tell you how I never thought that was possible again!!), and wake up rested and refreshed! And it's been consistent. I thought the old sleep ways would return, but they haven't, and I couldn't be more pleased.

My experience with my Purple Mattress has been very good. I sleep cooler than I did with my previous two-inch memory foam topper, which is exactly what I was looking for! As far as comfort, I was sleeping well on the memory foam and I am also sleeping well on the Purple Mattress, so I have no complaints.

This mattress was a huge step up from our 11 year old lumpy mattress. I suffer from back and hip pain and since we got this mattress my back hasn't hurt much. Im usually a side/stomach sleeper and initially most of my pain was gone however my hip pain has started to come back and I noticed it's when I sleep on my side. I wish we purchased the hybrid mattress for more softness. We've had this mattress for about 4 months now and out of the 100 day grace period. I also bought the purple pillow (the standard one) and returned it after 30 days because it was the flattest thing I've ever used for a pillow.

Takes some getting used to but it's much better than what I has before. I appreciate the airflow; however, it's a gigantic inconvenience to not be able to throw the cover in the washer if it gets soiled or a serious stain of sorts happens. More thought could go into developing a washable (and maybe even dry-able cover), especially for the cost.

Bought the original purple mattress, plush pillows ,frame, mattress protector and sheets. Not one regret! I love it. If your on the fence about buying one... dont be. This bed is AMAZING. I use to have lower back pain with my old bed. With the purple mattress i typically wake in the same exact position i layed down in. Lol. Will be buying another one for my daughter.
