I have been using the mattress for two weeks now, I am not sure yet, I have health issues and am not sure if the mattress is helping or hurting. I have Post polio & fibromyalgia and am finding the mattress very firm, I use to sleep on my side but cannot do that on this mattress.

I have had this wonderful mattress for 1.5 years now so it's been given a good test run. At first I didn't have a proper bed to rest Purple on. It was a simple metal frame with 1"x6" pieces of wood laid across to support Purple. Even with such unsupported beginnings Purple didn't let me down! It has always provided back support and a comfy cushion for these broad shoulders while side sleeping. First time in years that I've woken up to the complete full feeling in my arms not pins and needles reminding me I should not be a side sleeper. Now Purple has a proper "Adult" bed providing it full support and I can honestly say that it's even more supportive then before! Even my boyfriend, who's mattress I lovingly refer to as the "hole", noticed a difference and now he even sleeps better at my place. When given the opportunity my dog even sleeps better on Purple, one day he may have his own Purple. As a person that loves her sleep Purple is my idea of what bed awesomeness should be!!

Delivery was painfully slow. Mattress is packed inside a duffel bag which was EXTREMELY heavy and difficult to bring inside and then take out of the bag since it only opens on one end. I have had CONSTANT lower back pain since I started sleeping on the mattress. I am leaning towards returning it but giving it a couple more weeks to see if the pain subsides. Overall NOT A PURPLE FAN, especially for the price they charge. I honestly expected a better night sleep and NO back pain.

Hi!!! I bought a purple bed and I have been sleeping on it for the last month.. I also bought the platform base... that's been up for around 3 weeks.. I am in love with my bed.. I was worried after reading some people couldn't get over the feel of the top layer... but I find it amazing!!! I do wish I would have bought the king size because I just don't think queen works for my husband and I.. so if you are worried go with the King over the queen.. I haven't slept so well in years. I have several health conditions which usually make sleeping painful or at the very least less than restful... but with the purple I easily fall asleep and I feel more rested and my pain generally is much less..

I love the feel of the purple grid it is quite unique. However, at 200 lbs I sink into the grid a little and it tends to keep my shoulders, legs and hip areas slightly higher than my back causing a small amount of lower back and shoulder pain. In my opinion, all mattress do this unless you can tolerate a much stiffer, harder mattress. I think Purple should insert an air bladder below the purple mattrix the size of an average torso chest and inflate to level your weight, or stiffer mattrix in chest area.

Very good. I'm a back side sleeper. My wife is a side sleeper. I needed no cushion and my wife needed about 2-3 inches and that was on a 7 yr memory foam mattress. Both with lower back problems. We needed no cushion with this mattress. Seems as though there is a 3-7 day get used to it period. Our bed has not looked normal for years because of the 2 different surfaces needed. Regular mattress out of the question, pillow top sags after 2 to 4 years and not the air type. I'm 5'9" 180 52yrs, she 5'7" 160 46yrs Thx so much

A lot of businesses preach about their warranty, and then when you go to use it, surprise it's not as easy as they made it sound. But our platform base broke and punctured our purple king mattress, and when we emailed them with pictures they shipped both the frame and the bed out that night no questions asked! Seriously, there was 3 emails exchanged and they were so apologetic. That's a pretty penny they replaced with no argument! If you're looking for a new mattress, go with Purple! We've never seen such great customer service. Not to mention, their mattress is AMAZING!

I waited a super long time to receive my bed (almost 2 months!) and yes it is comfortable but definitely not the best mattress I've ever slept on. I was honestly disappointed in how long I had to wait for it but I will say it is pretty comfortable. If you're looking to experience 'the best night of sleep' this is likely not the mattress that will do it for you.

This mattress was completely unexpected! I was waking up 4 - 6 times a night, tossing and turning. When I started sleeping on this mattress, my muscles got very sore, and I thought it might actually not be working out for me. However, I stuck with it - seeing as how my wife, from day one, was quickly falling into deep sleep's on the mattress and she is usually a light sleeper. Well, one visit to the chiropractor, and now all of a sudden, I only get up once a night and my sleep is sound - meaning, my eyes close, then the next thing I know, it's morning. This mattress has met all my expectations. It is amazingly comfortable. As a side note - it is also quite a stable platform for the more amorous activities one also enjoys in bed. That's important too.

I am very happy with our new mattress. I don't have the aches and pains that I normally would have with my old matress. I do have one concern. I was able to get another base for my mattress and did not use the one that I ordered from you. Is there a way I can return it?
