The first couple weeks it was really hard to get comfortable and fall asleep. However, within the first week, for the first time I can remember, I awoke without back pain. My husband still is not in love with the mattress but he's finally used to it as well. It remains firm and cool. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.

At first I was stoked and loved it. I am a bigger girl at 300 pounds. I missed on there where it said that it has about a 300 pound limit. I feel like it's already worn out in one spot. I think I may be returning the mattresses. I love the power base though !!!

Before Purple, I had a Cal-King mattress that I thought was plush and perfect. I didn't realize how uncomfortable it really was until my boyfriend started complaining about how he wasn't getting enough sleep, and I realized that I would also wake up in the middle of the night from my back/hips feeling weird (I sleep on my side a lot). Our friends and coworkers highly recommended Purple, so we decided to give it a shot. It's worth every cent! Both my boyfriend and I can now sleep through the night without any issues. I'm so glad we made the decision to get Purple.

I found the mattress not nearly as comfortable as advertised. After sleeping on it a few nights by back hurt as much or more as before I got it. I bought another memory foam to go on top of it because it was simply not all that comfortable. On the plus side, I do believe it is made with quality materials and the customer care is evident by Purple. I'm sure it's great for lots of other people, but I was disappointed.

So far so good! While I wasn't happy about the time it took to get my sheets, the mattress arrived reasonably fast. I have hip problems, and have used various memory foam mattress/toppers for a long time. They worked and are much cheaper than the Purple Mattress. However, they tend to be hot, not comfortable for me, and need to be replaced every two years or so. I am hoping that the Purple Mattress last much longer, especially given the price. I also like the fast response time that the Purple Mattress returns to normal.

I really like everything about Purple - from their marketing, the sales process, shipping and packing, all the way through unpacking and sleeping on. It provides exceptional support that is not too firm or too soft. It has the great ability to spread the various pressure points of the bony parts of the body. It is great at equalizing the heavy mid-section with other lighter limbs. I do not have the tendency of sinking in, feeling stretched or getting back and neck cramps on another comparable product that I purchased for another bedroom at the same time I ordered the Purple. It was also much easier lugging a 110 lb queen mattress in a round purple duffel bag (Purple) vs a 90 lb California King (other mattress) in a beat up and dusty box, up a flight of stairs to the bedrooms. I look forward to using my Purple every night.

This mattress is easily to most comfortable I've ever owned. Been falling asleep easier and waking up more rested than I every have in my life. Set up was easy the compact mattress package was easy to move up the stairs and around tight corners to the bedroom.

Aside from a lazy FedX driver just rolling the mattress out the back of his van and leaving it in the rain, we have had a positive experience. So far I like the mattress, I was afraid it would be a "hot sleeper" but it is not. I stay cool all night long which is more than I can say for our previous "traditional" style mattress. It took me a few nights before I got my first "full" night of sleep, I think about things too much, analyzing the comfort of the mattress, thinking about the purple stuff on it, wondering if I was getting hot or not, that kind of stuff. Once I got past my head I started sleeping better, though I don't think I am completely used to it yet, we are only about 3 weeks into it. I am looking forward to vacation so I can leave the Purple for a few days and come back to it for an "after the fact comparison. But like I said, so far so good! Back to FedX and rain and customer service; The big bag the mattress come in are not water proof, most of it seems to be but not the zipper. I don't now how long the mattress sat out in the rain because we didn't know it had been delivered. FedX delivered it a day ahead of schedule and literally just left it sitting in out driveway in the rain. I was out of town and my wife was out and about that day, when she came home and found it she rolled it into the garage for me to deal with when I arrived home. I checked the mattress and it had gotten very wet and the mattress cover was stained. SO, it being Saturday, I sent Purple's customer service a quick e-mail not expecting to hear form them until Monday but I was wrong. I received a call just a couple of hours later, I took some pictures of the water damaged mattress and emailed them to customer service and a new, dry, mattress was on the way. It too arrived a day ahead of schedule and the FedX driver once again just rolled it out of the back of the truck and left in the driveway, luckily it wasn't raining and we were all at home. My kids heard the truck back down the drive way and witnessed the driver open the back door of his truck and kick the mattress out and leave. Ok, all of the to say we are like the mattress so far and the Customer Service experience exceeded my expectations!.

My husband loves the Purple Mattress, but it is quite a bit firmer than I expected. I don't know if I don't weigh enough or my hips are just too wide compared to the rest of me, but when I sleep on my side, it feels like my hips don't sink in so my spine sags. I am going to test out another mattress before making a final decision.

I've only had the mattress for a few weeks, but so far really enjoying it!! I will say that as awesome as the frame is to sleep on... it does somewhat look like a cot. Maybe I can buy something to make it look a little more "adult" but what do I care, it's comfy.
