I'm still adjusting to even having a bed again after a year of not... so it's difficult to know but there a couple things are a very happy with: I always feel supported and that's great. I wish there was a little more point elasticity for when I side sleep, but I have nothing to compare it to. Overall I am happy with my bed - haven't had much back pain since owning it. Do wake up sometimes with aches on my shoulders... and sometimes I don't even want to get out of bed!! Nothing is perfect, and I don't expect my mattress to be. However I'd say this the most comfortable mattress I have slept on yet.

Our mattress took longer than expected to deliver. We ended up getting the frame that is super heavy duty and yes is very well built. We had received the mattress and frame a week apart which stinks cause I wanted to lay on it but had to wait another week to get rest of bed after waiting a long time to get the first part of it. I am still waiting on the pillows. As for comfort it is OK it is not what was expected. The mattress seemed very much like laying on several gym mats. The frame looks and feels like it'll be built for life. (Very nice quality) if anything I would change... I would have shipped the bed out together so the customer didn't have to wait for all the pieces to show up.

The mattress was to be shipped within 2-3 days and it took well over a week to hear any news from purple at all. Ultimately, the mattress came approximately 2.5 weeks after ordering. The cutter, to be used to unwrap the mattress, was at the opposite end of the zipper and therefore it was a big struggle to get the product out of the initial packaging (125-140lbs). For such an expensive product, I expected better customer service. As for the mattress, for the first two weeks we planned on returning it. Now, we've gotten used to it and it is decently comfortable. Not worth the hassle of returning.

Ok. I have the powerbase, pillow, sheets and mattress and I've reviewed them all and I'm now thinking I was a touch hypercritical... but even if I were super hypercritical, it wouldn't matter here! This mattress was made out of 2 parts science and 1 part love, with sprinkles of magical sandman sand! This mattress is so great for me! I sleep on my back, sides, and belly in that order. It feels soft, but is firm... I think the top layer is so soft that it literally disperses your surface area completely equally...? I can't rave about it enough! The only gripe I have is that I sleep in far too long now!

Getting my purple was super easy and i was able to unwrap it and place it with no trouble at all. The most significant thing I have noticed is that I am sleeping about an hour longer than I used to! Thats better. Im still not sure if my back is feeling any better though. Maybe I just need more time on the mattress. So is it the Best mattress I've ever had? Not convinced yet, but I'm in for the long haul. Pressing on.

I have 3 stars for the great price, super fast delivery and easy set up. However, comfort wise, I'd have to give it two stars. It's not as cooling as we were sold on. It holds my husbands body heat. We wake up hot. As far as comfort, I'm trying to hold out hope that my body adjusts to the bed in the recommended time frame. I wake up so sore and am barely sleeping. At this point, I'm waiting for the 21 day return period to return it. Such a bummer.

After purchasing other box beds and returning them after the trial time was up, I purchased a king size purple mattress. Right away I realized it is noticeably cooler and more supportive then the other beds I tried. I went from a spring mattress to an air mattress to a foam mattress and have finally found my perfect mattress fit! Will never give up my purple bed!

We purchased a king size Purple 3 mattress, it is so comfortable and doesn't retain heat. We live in a hot and humid area of the country and it is wonderful to go to bed at night knowing you won't wake up from sweating. I would recommend it, try it, you will be surprised.

I have had sleeping problems for years due to back and hip pain. I would get 2-3 hours a sleep and then have to get up, with extreme pain and legs giving out. With this mattress I have been able to sleep solid for 6-8 hours straight with no pain when I get up and my legs are not giving out. I was scared to spend so much money but I am really glad I did. I am able to function better with actual sleep and not waking up in pain.

The mattress is great. Right away my domi (Domestic Partner) and I loved how soft and comfortable it was. The first night of sleep I was able to sleep COMFORTABLY on my back. I prefer to sleep that way and haven't been able to in years. I had full support of my lower back and hips. The next great surprise was I didn't even feel him get out of bed in the morning. The bed provides support while giving comfort all night long. The only down side I would have to say is the bed smells a little for the first few days, 5 or so...like plastic/rubber. The smell does dissipate over time or we've just come accustom to it, either way. We are very satisfied with our purchase. Thanks Purple!
