I have degenerative disk disease and went through three mattresses before landing on the Purple. This mattress is the only one that has given me relief- and complete relief! It did take about a month for my body to adjust to it, so do be patient! My husband loves it too. We immediately noticed deeper sleep from night one. I now dread ever having to spend a night away from our purple. Love, love everything about this mattress!

I suffer from chronic back and hip pain. This mattress has saved me from horribly painful mornings. I now don't have to worry about whether I will have feeling in my feet when they hit the floor. Best sleep I've had in my life and no more tossing and turning!

Whatever you do do not and I mean do not buy this product. Worst thing I ever purchased and still paying on. Now besides my back hurting me now my hips hurt and I can't even use it anymore I've taken it off my bed and still paying for it plus had to purchase another mattress . So please do not buy this !!!!!!

So, we are keeping it, I'm sleeping better than ever but I run cold. My hubby runs hot so it's not so good for him. The summer should be interesting... He loves me. We're keeping it. Can't imagine how we're getting the king size out of here though. Might sell the house with the bed!

My experience with Purple products have been a mixed bag. First I bought the purple mattress (standard type) and I love it. It really does provide a great sleeping experience. My free gift was the old original pillow. What a joke that thing was. Weighs a ton, non-adjustable and as so many folks mentioned, there was tons of crazy white powder that no mater how many times I washed it thoroughly it still keep coming. I don't care that Purple states it not a health risk. That's what the folk at Johnson & Johnson said about baby powder! No way I am sleeping on something like that. I also purchased the sheets. They showed up with holes that continued to get worse the more as I used them. Called purple and they sent me a new pair " no issues" . The second sheets did not have holes to start but now are starting to get the weird random holes again. Oh well....time for different brand of sheets. I have also purchased the second generation of pillow (the one that un-zips on the sides). These were not even on my bed for a week. Nothing more pleasant that waking up with zipper marks in your face or neck. My advice would be to buy your mattress with Purple...(they are great) and pass on everything else.

All the great testimonials and remarks about the purple brand and the purple mattress is absolutely legitimate. I sleep like a baby dinosaur and have slept like each day since I purchased the purple mattress. If you are in the market and have the funds available it's a tremendous investment in your sleep quality and therefore our overall health and quality of life.

I lay down for bed early so I can get up early to work out. I also suffer from Anxiety caused insamnia, due to military Sevice, and I no longer need Melatonin to sleep since using this mattress. The problem now is I don't want to get up in the morning.

We have had the mattress over a year. I make it about 4 hours and wake up with severe back pain so bad i move to the couch. Thought it would begin to soften up but hasn't so i spend many nights on the couch to begin with because i know i need good sleep. I look forward to going out of town so I can get a good night's sleep with no back pain in the morning. First night back from vacation and i am sitting up at 2am now writing this wishing i had never bought the hype.

I have had lower back issues for decades. Each morning when I got out of bed I would have at least some lower back pain until I got up and going for day and I would have to sleep on my side as sleeping on my back causes additional pain. I no longer have this issues with the Purple mattress. I can sleep on my side or my back and no pain when I get out of bed in the morning. I highly encourage people with lower back problem to try Purple mattress.

I have been back and forth between a Novosbed, Loom & Leaf and the Purple for the last month. The Purple definitely feels softer on my pressure points and the support is surprisingly good! It is my favorite of the 3. It does, however, put strain on my neck. I don't know why yet, but every time I sleep on the Purple with or without my pillow, my neck hurts. This is not just due the the bed. I've had neck problems for years. That said, if you have similar concerns, Purple may not be the right choice. Also, it's really heavy and floppy = difficult to move. It REALLY needs handles. The Loom & Leaf is the lightest of the 3 and it is buy far the highest quality outside material. I think the Purple internal materials will likely last longer though.
