It took me about three days to get used to it but from then to now I sleep like a baby. The Purple mattress is so comfortable I can't even begin to explain how amazing it is. I used to have a lot of lower back problems/pain but ever since I changed to this mattress the problems have completely disappeared like magic. I love telling my friends about what a great experience this mattress has been for me. The only downside is that when you lay on a non purple mattress it feels awful, like a bed on a hotel or any other.

I am a 36yo every which way sleeper. I went to a store that sold beds and really took my time laying on each one and rolled around on them to see which one I liked the best. I ended up with the 3" Hybrid Premier because no matter which way I laid I didn't feel a single twinge of pain in my back. I ordered the bed from the store and it was delivered the next week. If you are looking to try a Purple, I recommend seeing if a local retailer carries them so you can try out the different kinds before you buy. If they also have it in stock, you will get it much sooner than if you go through the site. The store I purchased from also had the same pricing, and the same deal as the website - free sheets or protector and 2 free pillows, and I was able to try out and upgrade the Harmony Pillow. A few nights on the bed and I'm sleeping really well and waking up without pain!

On the first night we owned our Purple mattress, I questioned our purchase. Sleeping on the Purple was like nothing I had ever experienced. Feeling my body evenly distributed over the mattress with no pressure points was-frankly an odd experience. However, when I laid down for night two, I was hooked. I don't feel as though I toss and turn all night nor do I wake up and feel stiffness where I've been poked all night by a spring. Our next purchase will definitely be a set of Purple sheets and Purple pillows! We are hooked!

My husband is in Love with the purple bed and all the products. He has the pillow and seat cushion too. We have own the bed for a year now and it still feels like new. Usually we have to get a new bed cause it is causing him pain not the purple bed he sleeps wonderful now everynight. I love it too. NO more hip pain from sleeping on my side. Thank you.

To be clear, the mattress isn't some soft, magical marshmallow that will take away all of your cares and worries. The mattress is comfortable and supportive. It supports my lower back while giving great comfort when on the side. It took about a week to get used to the bed. I have been very happy with it.

My husband and I were in the market for a new mattress since our old traditional mattress had outlived its life expectancy. His back and shoulders were sore and my hips were killing me. He heard about Purple on Facebook. The price was right for a king, and we liked the 100-day trial. Sold! We haven't looked back. I adjusted immediately. It took my husband about a week. Now, when we're out of town, we miss our mattress. Yes...it's that good. We also have a queen Temperpedic, which I love, but this one beats it. We recommend Purple to family and friends and they love their mattresses now, too.

We both thought we needed a very firm mattress, but after reading many reviews we decided to take a chance on the Purple mattress. I thought it would be too soft, but it is perfect. I'm a side sleeper, and I haven't had any hip pain since we got this. It somehow cradles without enveloping you like some of the super plush hotel mattresses I've slept on. It doesn't get hot like most foam mattresses. We're very happy.

Our last mattress cost three-times as much as our Purple. However, our Purple is three-times as comfortable as the last mattress. Set up was easy, off-gassing was MINIMAL and after the first three nights my wife and I were convinced we were keeping the mattress. It's really nice to not wake up sweaty with numb arms! My lower back feels better than it has in 10 years and I definitely fall asleep faster. Couldn't be happier!!

I've had my purple mattress and platform base a little over three years and it has not held up at ALL. The side that I sleep on feels flat compared to the side my partner sleeps on. Feels like I'm laying on the bare platform with no mattress. Horrible for the price.
